OT: 30 year old HS basketball player arrested after lying about age
Kid Man played right across the river from Detroit in Windsor. I'm not sure if he lied about his age to get out of Sudan, where he's from. Either way, please remove him from your prospective 2018 hoops roster.

It’s Detroits servants quarters. It grew up as a place to supply Detroit when it was booming but never had the flair or architectural beauty of Detroit. So when Detroit had its downturn so did Windsor but without the faded former glory because it never had any.

Detroit is architecturally beautiful. It was once the wealthiest city in North America. Granted, the last two generations of whatever the hell Coleman Young left that city is debatable but if you open your eyes, it's there to see.

It's funny picturing a 30 year old, graying, slightly overweight "dad-bod" kind of man just throwing down on a bunch of High School kids. On the flip side, this is clearly a guy that escaped a terrible situation, and potentially could have used basketball to now further his education at the college level and really turn his and his family's life around. I guess comedy tends to have an element of sadness to it.

If he is 6' 10" and hasn't been to college why couldn't he get a scholarship to a small school? Obviously he can't play in HS, but he can play. Lots of people go back to school at 30.

Likewise. Part of me wishes he did not get caught. But then again, is that fair to the other 43.7 trillion people in Africa who want to get out and can not do it the right way?
Or if it was pushed on him because of his height. I sorta believe that if he wasn't profiled in the newspaper a few times, he'd still be a free man.
