OT 24 returns tonight

I really like this show a few years ago but I think it has lost some steam. Hope this season doesn't disappoint as well.

how many bad days can the poor guy have? I feel sorry for Jack but trust he has AMAZING insurance. he really needs to find another line of work.

I thought last season regained some of the show's lost mojo, but the first three seasons are still the best. Regardless, I'll still watch all of the new season, barring any truly outlandish shark-jumping incidents.

They lost their mojo because the supporting characters are much more poorly written than they were in the early seasons. We need more well-hashed out characters like early Nina, George Mason and the like. Hell, Dennis Hopper was the season 1 villain.

And I'll never go back. It was very entertaining, but it requires you to watch every week, or else nothing makes a g*ddamn bit of sense ("Wait wait wait, explain this again... If Jack doesn't find the terrorist, the President will die of scurvy?").

And is it just me, or does Jack Bauer sometimes talk LIKE HE JUST ACCIDENTALLY JUST HIT THE CAPS LOCK KEY?

8:01-8:09 AM Jack calmly eats cereal, watches fake news.
8:10-8:14 AM Commercial break
8:15 AM Jack has magicially dressed in that timespan, already in a car 3 miles down the road
8:17 AM, Jack checks his magical PDA that never runs out of battery and gets reception everywhere (must not be AT&T, ZING!)

I could write this all day.
