OT: 2013 OH WR Kilgore commits to MSU

Another WR prospect for Sparty. Not sure why they have such good luck with getting WRs to committ, what with an unproven signal caller under center.
I do not know much about this guy, was he ever on our radar?
Good...for them?
Honestly, it's a middling kid. Wish him the best because I'm not particularly vindictive about 17-year-old kids, but otherwise this is a non-story. He reminds me of Stribbling - a project kid with no big-time offers but probably a good depth guy.
They have to get somebody. A kid with fair-to-middling offers is perfect for Sparty. I just hope he doesn't get any orange to wear with his green and white.
Always interested in the # of kids that end up doing engineering, or if its just too much for most athletes. Also of note, last year an article noted FL, LSU, OSU, UK, etc. And only UK ended up offering... one of those was not like the other.
They also just picked up another WR Jay Harris from Exton, PA.
That kid seems legit. Not bad to snag a kid from Pennsylvania with Penn State and Pitt offers (according to Rivals).
Uh WHO?
Well I guess D'Antonio does recruit nationally after all...AKA picks up the scrubs from Ohio that can't get a Michigan or Ohio offer.
Im an MSU fan and I dont know why this was posted...
In other news, we got TE Dylan Chumra (Dad played for the packers) and another WR/ATH Jay Harris.
Kilgore had to play QB when he wasnt injured because his QB sucked so alomst all of his highlights are at QB. Also, a guy on bucknuts said he is a quicker version of Madaris. As for Jay Harris he is being recruited as a return specialist, and his film would indicate why, really good vision and speed. Chmura didnt play at all junior year. That is all I know about these kids.
I don't think anyone with any knowledge of the subject would actually say that a recruit is being recruited as a return specialist. Every D1 WR/RB/DB is capable of becoming a return specialist. They all probably dominated their high schools in just about every facet of the game - including returning kicks.
I seriously hope that Dantonio isn't offering guys for their return abilities only. The only people that are saying things like this are just rationalizing why the Spartans offered a relatively low ranked slot receiver before his senior year of high school. I guarantee that MSU offered him because they saw something and think he'll be a good WR or DB(?) for them, not because he's really good at returning kicks against high schoolers.
Dantonio has always put a priority on special teams. I think Nick Hill was recruited as a primary Return guy, and so was Keshawn martin. He is a return guy first, then a WR second, but with his explosiveness he could definately be a good WR.
