OT: 2013 Hot Colors for Men (obvious Ohio fan trolling)

Submitted by MGoRob on

Fellow Michigan alumnus forwarded this to me earlier:

It's Mantone 2013 Men's Color Forecast.  Basically what's hot and not in men's fashion for this year.  But yeah, basically the whole thing is a joke. However, I couldn't care less what's in fashion, but what I did find hilarious was the obvious trolling going on by a likely Ohio alumnus.  Check out the "unemployed underachiever".  For those that don't want to click it's a Michigan hoodie.

While I know it's a joke on "us", still thought in good humor it was worth a share.

SIAP: no date on the website, so not sure how long it's been out there.

Cane's Sauce

½ cup mayonnaise (Hellman's)

¼ cup ketchup (Heinz)

½ teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (French's)

a dash of paprika

Generous amount of black pepper (cover surface 2 or 3 times and mix in)

*The whole key is to let it sit in the fridge for at least a few hours and then mix again before you eat it...doesn't taste spot on until it's had time to let the flavors blend

As a Columbus resident, I think it's a great city... I do wish we had more of the hills, lakes and landscape of mid-to northern Michigan, as I've been up there a bunch to ski and golf etc.. If you've spent much time in both states you know that Michigan has much better landscape and outdoor things to do...and Ohio, while having little to offer in that realm, has more big cities/ metro things going on with Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland. Contrary to popular opinion, neither state to close to the title of "worst state ever".

It is a nice city. I liked Cinci better, when I was there for school, to tell you the truth. But Columbus spends tons of state money on itself and there are many thing to do here. As long as you like going to bed when it's dark out. It is VERY NOT cosmopolitan and is still very much an overgrown small town. In large part, I blame Ohio State for a lot of things as people here seem to want this to be a little college town and it isn't (actually is but shouldn't be).

Pretty funny. The comical thing about it is that a lot of MSU friends  I know fit into the unemployed underachiever description. While they are employed, the description still fits them perfectly.

Kind of makes sense; UM grads are busy changing the world and an OSU grad is spending his time making comics on a site about anthropomorphized cats.
