1st of all, they are probably valued at $2.50 each. Kohl's marks things up like crazy and then offers a huge "sale" where they then give you "Kohl's" cash back. I just bought $30 worth of stuff for $3.50 on Sunday.

Kohls.  Seriously, Buy One Get One 1/2 on belts?  Who goes to the store to buy two belts?  If you are going to the store to buy 1 belt it is because you currently have no belts and need one, not because you are going "belt shopping" and looking for kickass deals on two of them.  That is not even a sale.  I hate even going in there.  Wow, I was not aware until the time of this writing how much I really dislike Kohls.

Well, it's a start, but it will take a lot of tie bars to make up for lost time in the Fulmer Cup standings.

In all honesty, I see "Accessory-Gate" being the result of this, possibly the biggest story of the year in West Lafayette.

I guess the loss prevention "officer" at Koh's isn't a football fan?

There was a time in America when events like these were solved amicably without a word in public.

Simple misdemeanor equals probation with community service and a game or two on the field. Knauf is a pretty significant loss, if he is suspended.

where were they going that they needed a tie bar so bad? And if they were that desperate, they could have just used a pen cap with a silver clip. works for me.

Does anyone besides soccer moms who don't want to spend money on their kids' clothes really shop at Kohls and other such discount places?

I used to be super cheap about it but then I realized how much better pre and post sale service I get at some high end places. Not to mention the clothes I pay for aren't usually rejected by the big stores due to defeciencies.

For Purdue football players, once they graduate, it's tough to explain on a job application. The theft thing will be difficult also.

I have to assume that they either dropped the tie bars while leaving or else were caught from behind by the security officer.

Getting arrested for stealing tie bars? And $20 tie bars at that? Wow, that seems like a very Purdue thing to get arrested for.

Still, it doesn't seem like things can get much worse for Purdue at this point. Looks like Hazzell should brace himself for a 1-11, maybe 2-10 season.
