Well I just got home from the Schott tonight and if you were at the game then walking to the arena was definitely BRRRRRRRRR its freezing tonight in Cbus. But a great win for the maize and blue and big game for Hogan. The man made some awesome saves to keep Michigan in the lead all night long. I thought throughout the game that Osu's passing and puck handling looked sloppy and un organized. After Michigan took the 2-0 lead they started playing slap stick off the boards and long shot passing from line to line and our defense was there to block it almost every time. The power plays for both teams I thought were sloppy. Michigan was 2 for 6, Ohio State 0 for 3. Our PK played very well and generated a lot of shorthanded chances. Shots on goal Michigan dominated in the 1st and 2nd then in the third Osu started to put more on net on Hogan and it ended up being 37 26 (in favor of Michigan). Summers and Rust had the goals for Michigan. Wolverines held on to win 2-1 but Osu with a late goal by Albert made it a one goal game with about 10.7 to play but it wasn't enough to keep the rally alive. Michigan gets the win and tied up the weekend series. I also will say the womens ice hockey team in the crowd made this game much more enjoyable lol. GO BLUE.
