But have no worries, Aaron Craft will use all the MOXIE and GRIT in his power to take this team to the promised land.

I thought OSU was a paper tiger with that undefeated start against nobody, but I never thought they were THIS bad.  There is a legit chance they miss the tourney if they finish with a losing reecord in conference, and right now how many marquee wins are they going to get to offset losing to PSU, Nebraska, etc.?  And they are going to Wiscy and Iowa the next two games.  They could easily be 3-7 in conference and basically needing to run the slate to get a bid, because their best OOC win is maybe Marquette or ND, two .500 teams.

Yep, just noticed that too.  They'll probably get a scalp or two in the B1G to pad their case, but it is going to be tough especially if they continue to flounder.  They can't afford to really lose another game at home and they better start picking up road wins in bunches.

Good point.  Similar to how Iowa last year finished ahead of Illinois and Minnesota, at 9-9 in conference but missed the Tournament; they played nobody during the OOC schedule.  Ohio has beaten Marquette and Maryland (and NDSU, which is their best RPI win I guess?!, lulz).  Those are probably better teams than Iowa beat last year but still, I'm not sure they're Tournament-bid wins.

According to their website, Bates-Diop 5* and Tate 4* have UM offers.  I am not sure why we haven't offered Russel 5*

Now would be a good time to go after these guys.

What sane recruit would want to join a team with a toxic atmosphere and so much bad blood between players?

In my excitement, I obviously, did not pay close attention to my own link.

So, barring some unforeseen NCAA sanctions, I presume that JB would need to convince a transfer to sit out a year, like Donnal did.  That admittedly would be a hard sell for high calibre players.  JB and his assistants would have to judge whether a commit is sufficiently disaffected or worried.  Any further recruiting efforts on signed commits might not be worth the effort of our busy coaches.  Such efforts, however, could be really worthwhile as we compete with Ohio for the next class of recruits.  The problem at Ohio may involve players who remain on the team as well as coaches.
