why the hell would you expect them to get this right?
that illegal use of the leafy substance portrayed on the letterhead caused the inability to correctly spell a 3-letter name.
Some university needs quality control in it's recruiting campaign. I know if I got a letter to the wrong name I'd cross them off my list immediately.
No, I think they are actually going after "Von Runyan Jr."
Because there's no way that even they'd be stupid enough to go after Jon Runyan Jr.
It's actually a soft J, you know, like yogging.
Maybe the person who wrote that was a big fan of this guy:
When he was with the Phillies, he was no joke.

I Have only one MLB players autograph and its Von Hayes. Got it after a Phillies game.
Von Hayes
This kid's highlights are pretty insane
To be absolutely fair, they are building a process that is more personable and does not simply recruit people named "Current Resident" or "Occupant", so you have to expect these sorts of growing pains when actual appellations are added to the equation. I am sure that the typos will decrease once they get some updated information from the Post Office, or simply read their list of targets a little more carefully.
I'm just amazed they spelled "Ohio" correctly...

It usually takes two of them to spell it and they only have to remember 2 letters at a time to do so.
This whole post made me think of Jon Vaughn. How good was he?!
he was great.
Your post, though, made me think of Loy Vaught.
How good was he?!

Your post, though, made me think of Sam Mitchell who went to Loy Norrix HS.
How good was he?!

Your post made me think of Shane Morris, formerly of Warren de la Salle HS. How good will he be? (Ahem, someone Donovan...)

Donald Faison rocks! Never saw "Scrubs" but I hear it was effin funny.
I saw Morris Day & The Time in concert at Club Soda in Kzoo in the late 90s. Great show.
But for some reason that gif made me think of Milli Vanilli. How good were they at lip synching??
Milli Vanilli makes me think of vanilla ice cream. How effin' great is vanilla ice cream?

But your post reminded me that I had a little whipping cream left in the frig. Real cream in my coffee---how great is that?!!
Ohio can't even spell Jon right?
The "O" and "N".
Still missing their J's apparently.
They're playing James Madison this week so they refuse to use J or M . . . oh, wait . . . .
Running back Deprick Groin of Hermitage High School in Richmond, Virginia and defensive back/athlete Jabraille Poopers and offensive lineman Juwann Bullshidt-Baddy of Paramus Catholic High School in Paramus, New Jersey.
That's the O-O-H-I Difference!

They did this on purpose, it's just that they thought his name was Mon Runyan, and a policy is a policy dammit.

OSU mixed up Kendrell McFadden and Tarvarus McFadden. Tarvarus received a letter with Kendrell's name on it, and he tweeted "What the heck, we are not related or anything." (Link)

There must a guy actually named Von Runyan jr, how strange is that? I thought. Then I read further and it was misspelled, now I am really thinkin no effin way! Not very strong in proof reading either, are they? Wow only in OOHI. These guys are mental midgets, no offense to the little people out there.
Is now in charge of mailing out recruiting info.
If you are Jon Runyan, Sr, this has got to be the greatest thing you've seen in a while. You bet all his teammates are loving this, too!
Reminds me of Logan Tuley-Tillman's infamous burning letter from tOSU that was addressed to him in the little-known town of Peroia, Illinois.
What is the point of having an immensely bloated athletic department if you don't have at least one person who can check spelling? Those people can't all be there to count secondary violations, can they? Also Curtis Enis / Chris Phenis.
