Oregon has 384 uniform combos, add 1 more to the list.
They couldn't decide what to wear vs CAL this weekend, so they are going retro.

"Penn State will commemorate its 1994 Rose Bowl team by wearing throwback uniforms for the 1,195th game in a row."
Hahahahaha, man those uni's are ugly
Penn State's uniforms are ugly? I have to disagree. Besides being for PSU, those uniforms are probably the second best in all of college football.
yeah. it's pretty hard to argue that they're ugly. i'd accept that someone may think they're boring. but ugly? there's not enough happening to achieve ugly.

I hate all white uniforms. So, for me, boring = ugly.
with the feathers on their shoulder remind me of the lead singer of The Killers . . .and that's not a good thing!

you won't be at Memorial Coliseum this evening for their show?

Being from Oregon, I find it interesting that most people who are not Oregon fans claim to hate the uniforms, but can't stop talking about them.
The uniforms keep Oregon relevant, but so does punching people in the face.

"but so does punching people in the face."
Some of their uniforms have been more offensive.
the unis are different, everyone has an opinion, and it draws discussion when its brought up.
I doubt too many non-Duck fans waste time thinking about what the Ducks will be wering when we play them. Dr Saturday was just setting up his Penn State joke.

I live here in Portland, OR, so I'm inundated with pictures/conversation/debate/fashion reviews about Oregon's uniforms. I agree that they serve a very distinct purpose, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
Oregon reminds me of the kid in school who wears all the newest, most expensive, and fashionable clothing just to try and be popular. Ugh.
for Phil Knight's University of Nike.
oregon is also the only team i know of that has more than one helmet style
384 Uniform combos sounds about right.
Feathers on the shoulder? Duck feathers? You mean the kind of ducks that spend most of their lives paddling around in ponds looking for milkweed, or wonder bread pellets or something?
Those ducks?
Those feathers look more like eagles feathers (or a turkey vulture's); some kind of predatory bird that spends it's day riding warm thermals a thousand feet high, just waiting for some unsuspecting prey to step out of it's lair, or sleek fish to come too close to the surface before being deftly plucked from safety, only to be carried away gasping for air until it's torn apart and devoured.
I'm sorry Oregon, but you are the Ducks.
They are not large, aggressive, or in any way intimidating.
They have no teeth or claws, but are equipped with webbed feet which cause them to waddle while on land.
It's not very sexy.
Plus (and I'm not trying to be mean here) they quack.
Seriously the quack would be a dealbreaker even if you had horns or really intimidating breath or something.
Now don't get me wrong, the duck is a very versatile animal; at home on land or water, capable of migratory flight with an ingenious formation. It's a fine mascot for any university, a symbol to be proud of.
It just doesn't really work for a testosterone fueled sport like college football.
Enough with the overcompensating, the steel plate thing was pretty embarrassing as well, look I know you've got a lot of cash, so instead of putting all that money and effort into trying to man-up your uniforms, maybe you could put some of that into therapy, or maybe that Caddyshack idea with the pot/golf turf crossbreed?
What I'm saying is, focus on the positives; at least you're not called the Beavers.
Love & Hate are horns on the same goat.
oregon state had a great retro logo with the beaver wearing an osu hat
you still have made a choice.
BOOM PEART'D.
