Also, what the hell is with players just loving to drop the ball before or right as they score? Is it really that hard to just hold onto the damn ball? That, and also the trend toward players slowing down before the cross the goal line drive me nuts.

This is disgusting.
2nd night in a row a kid does the underline/superman motion and the refs think it's throat slashing and call unsportsmanlike conduct. Same thing happened to Oklahoma last night.
Kids have been doing this all year and now these out of touch old farts want to take it out of context and change the games.

It's because he did the cut throat motion. I can't remember if it was NCAA or NFL that had a focused crackdown on that and would be an instant penalty with auto first down, but either way it wasn't just celebrating.
