No way. South Florida and subsequently Miami are a different ball game. People from the South will be the first to tell you Miami and South Florida are not considered the South. If the Majority of Miami area residents are Miami fans, then they'll probably strongly dislike the SEC.
Jacksonville and Gainsville are the south, but Miami isn't.
Miami is not the Deep South. The Deep South ends somewhere around Orlando.
