Opposing fans create fake twitter account to harass Terry Richardson

Submitted by Lupe Fiasco on
http://twitter.com/TrueBlue2004 has only been an account for 1 hour and done nothing but harass T-Rich. Probably a Spartan trying to get him to decommit. Please report it and get this taken down

Advice:  "Never argue with an idiot.  He'll just drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience."

Report him/her as spam or as offensive.

However, if you really can't resist the urge to tweet him/her, try to keep it classy.

Sparty trolls have been impersonating Michigan posters with "misspellings" of their names in the forums for a long time.  It's only a matter of time before one of them had a troll epiphany and realized that he could impersonate an actual athlete.

As for TR being a seventeen year-old kid, I would love to see him get a chance to "work out " with the troll in pads on a field.  I'd be willing to bet the troll loses.

because they just had a whole thread on tRCMB about T-Rich wearing a Florida hat and they were all giddy about him possibly decommitting. Its honestly pathetic. It has to be them.

initial comment go from "1" to "1 flamebait" to "2" back to "1 flamebait" now to "0 flamebait"? who decides these things anyways?

But if you are, everyone with an MGoBlog account and 100+ points can vote on each comment. With the system of voting in place now each user can label a comment how they see it, with the options being "normal, offtopic, flamebait, trolling, redundant, insightful, interesting, informative, underrated, overrated". The good adjectives (and "normal") earn you +1 point, and the bad adjectives earn -1 point. Right now it only affects the points on your post, but in the past/ future it will affect your MGoPoint total.

Trolls and fans alike need to realize that just because it's possible to contact a kid doesn't make it okay. It's worse to do the shit "Jason McMichael" did - sure. But can we all agree that it's probably the best policy to leave these kids the hell alone and let them do their thing?

In a different way, OSU fans also have made some very troubling posts on the internet.  Read them.  Then, tell me, if their intent is not obvious.

“….I recently spoke with the person who owns the building in which the tatoo parlor was operated. He said Mr. Rife is thinking about granting SI an interview in return for a large chunk of change. Apparently, Mr. Rife has some info ….that 52 OSU players were at the tatoo parlor over the years.”

“….Rife might want to be careful throwing OSU under the bus even more if his prison sentence is being served in the Ohio system."

...“I am sure we have some Buckeye fans in the penal system to take care of this matter for us.”

..."I have a friend who was a guard in Lucasville that is an OSU fanatic.  I'm sure he's not the only one."

“The street code is snitches get stitches and end up in ditches!”

“I am sure we have some Buckeye fans in the penal system to take care of this matter for us.”

Is this really something to be proud of? You assume that your fan base is inmates and you're bragging? Really ? ? ?

I'm sure that they have plenty of alums in the penal system too (besides former players like Clarett), but I just can't see choosing to publicize it. Not sure I'll ever understand the Buckeye mindset. . .

I literally said "what the fuck?" out loud upon reading this.  If you know your players were breaking rules you should want them to get punished.  I don't understand actually hoping for harm to come to someone in the event that they tell the truth.  It's not even like he'd be slandering OSU, he'd be straight up just telling what he knows.  That is absolutely disgusting.  I am so glad I'm not a member of that crap fanbase.

It's one of those things where I reread it several times, because I kept looking for some way that I was misinterpreting it, but the words are fairly clear. That is not just unpleasant, but full on psycho talk. Probably just some weenie who talks big on the internet in order to make up for being a lunch money victim in real life, but it is still pretty creepy.

It doesn't make it right. I do not like how this kid responded to the harassment. I'm a Michigan alum. Lots of us are. And anyone who has done four years there know how bad a word that is. Forgive me if I'm suddenly not that excited about welcoming a guy with open arms who reacts with slurs like that.

I'd be just as angry if I heard one of our current players drop that bomb. This is exactly my point. Internet shield of anonymity or not, society needs to stand up and stop brushing off this word to immaturity. It should be treated on par with the 'n' word and people need to understand that.

I'd prefer he didn't say "fag" on twitter, too.  But, he's 17, not 27, 37, or 47.  There's a lot worse which could have been said.  It isn't unusual.  So, let's move on, shall we.

Thank God. But he's being baited, including racist remarks. If it's an orientation slur beginning in f and ending in g, you need to watch South Park.

But I haven't and won't read it. I'm sure some of the conversations you, and I, and Ghandi had at that age weren't manifestos of morality. Especially when it's fighting words - more about pissing the other guy off than accurately reflecting your worldview.

And no guys, I don't need you to excerpt any of the exchange here.

holapalooza said... I love how everyone is talking about how "small" a 17 year old kid is. He has an offer from that Alabama team that beat the snot out of MSU. That's enough for me.

WTF? The mods seriously put someone on banhammer watch for saying the team that killed us offered him so he must be alright?

...but I wanted to mention that I reported that guy as SPAM on twitter.  It's pretty sad that someone would spend this much time harassing someone else, let alone a 17-year old. Really pathetic.

On a different note, I followed that link to that dump of a website called RCMB or whatever it is.  I still have a hard time believing that there are Spartan fans or that people willingly go to school there.  Amazing.  Do us a favor and don't ever post a link to that place again, or some unsuspecting sap like me might click over and become dumber just from reading it.

I don't know, if we think that out of the hundreds of thousands of Michigan fans out there, their isn't a single psycopath who will get this aggrieved over a baseball hat, we're kidding ourselves.

People on this board get pissy (though not this pissy) about crap just as minor.

TrueBlue2004 Jason McMichael @ @freepwolverines Mich commit Terry Richardson calls twitter follower a FAG, where is this story? He's talking to the FREEP trying to get a story on T-Rich. This confirms 0% chance that he is a michigan fan
