Big game to see where we are at this early in the season. Change the channel from this miserable UA All American Game.

Burke plays his worst game of the year, THJ goes 0-7 from 3, still were in it till the final minute against a (soon to be) top 10 team on the road.  Could be worse.

Ugh, what a terrible game by THJ.  Bad shots, lazy defense.  THJ playing like a freshmen in the second half after Burke played like a freshmen in the first half.

Dunno about that.  His negatives tonight far outweighed his positives.  Love him, but he's good enough to take that criticism.  He's not a three point shooter yet took 7 of them tonight.  Made none.  That's maybe his worst night as a Wolverine.  Great dunk to keep it close, but we need smarter plays throughout the game.  I trust him to turn it around.

That said, it's an encouraging game.  Lot's of unforced turnovers, terrible shots, poor shooting from our star guards and we almost sneak out of Assembly Hall with a B10, top-15 road win.

Well he was 7-11 from on two pointers, 5-6 from the foul line, where are those points going to come from on this team? He also had 4 steals and 4 boards, with a couple of those boards coming where he just went up above everybody and went and got it.

One play in particular that illustrates his importance to the team, was the play where he drove underneath the bucket, got his shot blocked, and in a heartbeat was able to recover the ball, jump and lay it in before anyone else could even get off the floor. You can't coach that shit, nobody else on this team can make plays like that.

In a way, this game should never have been close. In another way, I feel a little hosed by exceptionally cold shooting and some bad calls.

No doubt at all that those maniacs in Bloomington affected the officials tonight. Almost every close/questionable call went IU's way.

Crisler and the Maize Rage better bring it strong against the Badgers on Sunday. An intimidating crowd is going to be vital in this death march of a conference.

game over not into moral victories but last year we lost by 20 at assembly hall and each year of Beilen we are getting better.  If we play like we did with the grit and intensity we will beat State.

I understand the favorable foul calls when a home player is driving towards the basket. That stuff is pretty common and is what gives "home field advantage" in basketball.

This stuff where all deflected ball that goes out of bounds goes to the home team automatically business is not something you see everyday.

And you know it went out on our players how?

There was a couple 50/50 ones that went in our favor as well.  Why bitch about what may or may not have been questionable calls when our team took what was undeniably far too many terrible shots and made few of those shots.

It's an encouraging game in the end, so long as we improve from it.

Ummm.... because I have eyes (and DVR)???

There were several calls where Michigan players did not even touch the ball (the one where Smot smacked the ball off the knee of an Indiana player was especially egregious) and they called it Indiana ball.

I am not questioning "questionable" calls,  I am questioning blatant calls.
