Game at Noon eastern/ 11 Central.  Some Iowa fans smell an upset.  I think they will be upset after we win.  Go Blue!

This team can score so easily. If we can up the defensive intensity a little we can challenge for a title.

McGary leads a three minute stretch where we just take over this game.  Iowa did just about everything they wanted to do for 17 minutes, and they are down 11 at the half.  Woudl be great to look back in a month or so and see this as McGary's welcoming party.

boo on you, even if true.

And, I like Levert a lot, especially for this UM team:

I think sometimes looking at comparisons as one vs. one matchups isn't as accurate.  Yes, Marble maybeat Levert head to head, but sometimes teams need different things.  We will need some players that will be here all four years, giving us senior leadership to carry the younger 1/2/3 and done players.  Also, we have tons of scoring, and while Levert can score, his defense and all around play makes him a better than avg. team player - which all teams need, but UM needs even more b/c they already have so many "stars" that can score.

This is why this team is so great. Played at times a pretty crappy first half. Burke and Stauskas were non factors for a while. Some bad defense. Morgan in foul trouble. Iowa hitting a lot of shots. And we're still up 11.

I went from thinking possible deflating loss to anticipating another 20 point win in the time it took to smoke a cigarette. This team... I am blown away by the talent Coach B has put together.

Man how did they get 35 shots off?  And, forgive my basketball ignorance, but at what point does it change from 'a team plays bad defesne' to 'a team is just on fire'?  I ask because it seems that teams that don't shoot very well seem to against us, suggesting bad defense.  But when I eyeball it during the games, it's not like we're giving up easy shots, just that other teams are making a lot.  Anybody with more basketball knowledge feel free to chime in.

Our team is good for missing 4-5 rotations a game leading to uncontested dunks, but other than that I'd say our D is solidly above average.  Freshman will get more experience and begin anticipating where to be on the defensive end as the season progresses.  People seem to forget that we are great at not fouling and pretty good at forcing turnovers.

Good O beats a good D all day long.  They can hit fadeaway 12 footers with a hand in their face all day long; doesn't mean we didn't play good D.

That was the best finish to a half all year considering the competition. Iowa made it a point to deny Trey the ball but Michigan finally answered by saying fuck it he needs the ball in his hands. And Mitch McGary..wow the energy he brought to the team this afternoon was immeasurable

Played pretty shitty to start (by our standards), slept walked though a big portion of the 1 st half, were down 7-0 anf proceeded to outscore them 46-28 the rest of the way....just effing wow, we can turn it on so quick, it's scary

I'm just going to say the Big Ten ToGo app is doing me a solid right now being that I can't be at home. Now if I could just get the Watch ESPN app to be available in St Louis that would be great.

Has done this year. We had 2 true freshmen that understood the clock and the situation and executed the break to perfection. Either one could have went for a showtime dunk but knew they didnt have time.
