open thread - Illinois at Michigan basketball

Let's not forget our boys on the court. The real season starts today. Go Blue.

EDIT: Per ESPN, Jim will be introduced at halftime. Whether or not that is on TV is unknown, at least to me. I have to imagine they will show this on TV since it's such a big deal.

I posed this question the other day, but somehow it got missed. /s. How come we head into big ten basketball with only 12 games played compared to everyone else's (except nebraska) 13? And one of ours doesn't even count in the eyes of the committee (d2 hillsdale). Seems like very odd scheduling, missing out on two more *potential* wins we could sorely need.

No place for "FUCKEYES"...ever. It deserved to be called out and I'm back to being happy. In fact, I just took the most incredible nap because I didn't sleep a lick last night due to the excitement.

The team looks much more confident today than they did during the non-conference schedule. I'm happy to see them bring energy to B1G play, something that seemed to be lacking earlier in the season. Rebounding and front court presence still lacking.
