Same quantity, less quality. But if you love college football, have at it!

Move these games back to December where they belong? I'll still be watching them, but after the Rose and Sugar Bowls, USF versus No. Ill in Toronto is just a touch anti-climatic. Other than the BCS games the Cotton Bowl is the only game worth having on/ after New Years.

those were the days...even these other BCS games stink on ice. The ratings are in the dumper and all these bowl games that are now played after the 1st have lost their luster. Remember the NBC lineup Fiesta at one, Rose after, Orange last...then ABC had Gator, Citrus after and Sugar last...CBS had Sun and Cotton...then later we added the Cap One on ESPN. You needed three TV's and had a blast.

Well, the International Bowl is doing nothing to dissuade. 3-3, and South Florida's QB doesn't look mobile, he looks like a wide receiver playing QB.

USF's RB Mike Ford name patch in a post-game interview. I chuckled. Was Ford acting when he claimed not to be aware of the "kick-me" like paper placed on his back? Most interesting question following the 27-3 result.

I'm watching the U Conn game and thinking that I would much rather see Delaware State for the season opener. Either South Carolina is really bad or U Conn is better than I thought. Maybe a little of both.

is putting a little too much stock in UConn. This is a very mediocre South Carolina team. The Ol ball coach ain't what he used to be. And this Cotton Bowl goes from bad to worse - will anyone score to end this thing?

Not necessarily because he didn't control the ball (that's a tough call) but it would be a good opportunity to make up the bad no-offsides call. Edit: well i guess they're not interested in make up calls. That was a horrible no call on the offsides though, there was even contact before the ball was snapped
