He's been good at hitting those check downs and across routes. I came across pretty concerned after yesterday in regards to his deep ball. Some of his throws were really, really bad. A few occasions the defender just simply dropped the INT.
September 18th, 2016 at 11:07 AM ^
he dusted off the INT on his first pass and played well and got ROCKED yesterday and shook it off to have a good game by the end

Oklahoma just isn't a very good team this year, IMO. But the play of OSU's secondary has exceeded my expectations.

despite losing 2/3 of last years team to the pros and graduation. He is a quality coach as much as I hate to admit it. Over the same time period, he has a better record than Saban, that's saying something

Scary
If he had handed the keys to Barrett for the whole season last year instead of screwing around with Cardale they might have won it all. Again.

If last season is an indicator, our gameplans and tactics will continue to evolve. I feel defensively more so than last year with Brown as DC. Colorado's QB was awesome yesterday before he got injured, but besides that perfect deep ball he threw in the 3rd quarter, it felt like the D had figured things out.
Our's team personality/character had a level-up game yesterday against a solid-to-good Colorado team. This may be the most important thing to come out of the pre-conference schedule. Our team now knows what it's like to get punched in the mouth. They also know they can respond to the adversity.
