One word...

We know it's only been 3 games, one against a cream puff, one against a sponge cake, and one against a credible team, but what one word would you use to describe Speight's performance to date. Ok to use the one below again. Speight = "workmanlike" What about Ohio over Oklahoma? "Unsettling"

He's been good at hitting those check downs and across routes. I came across pretty concerned after yesterday in regards to his deep ball. Some of his throws were really, really bad. A few occasions the defender just simply dropped the INT.

despite losing 2/3 of last years team to the pros and graduation.  He is a quality coach as much as I hate to admit it. Over the same time period, he has a better record than Saban, that's saying something

If last season is an indicator, our gameplans and tactics will continue to evolve.  I feel defensively more so than last year with Brown as DC.  Colorado's QB was awesome yesterday before he got injured, but besides that perfect deep ball he threw in the 3rd quarter, it felt like the D had figured things out.

Our's team personality/character had a level-up game yesterday against a solid-to-good Colorado team.  This may be the most important thing to come out of the pre-conference schedule.  Our team now knows what it's like to get punched in the mouth.  They also know they can respond to the adversity.
