It is pretty funny. But just another example of Weis' lack of coaching ability. He has no control over his egotistical athletes. This should've been a penalty just like Allen got for shushing the crowd at the Big house.

Golden Tate should probably be suspended for hurting band members from the msu band. I wonder if Charlie is going to send that into the officials for a review?

But the kid wasn't being a bad sport. At the press conference he revealed that he actually thought he was jumping into his own band.
No one ever accused him of being smart, but I don't think he was being a jerk.

He admitted that he thought they would catch him, but he forgot it was the MSU band. However, it was a home game for Notre Dame.

I believe MM did the same thing UNINTENTIONALLY the last time he played in South Bend. The difference is that he actually landed in his own band. The thing I don't understand is that Tate said he thought he was diving into his own band, yet he's a junior, right? That means now in his third year playing for Notre Dame he still doesn't know where the home band sits? Interesting... Either way I LOL at this every time I watch it.
