One Question for a Magic 8-Ball
I was thinking the other day about the direction of our program and what we could expect in future years. There are so many questions that we'll just have to wait and see about, but what one answer would best indicate our future? What yes/no question would you ask to feel the most comfortable with where we're going?
Some of my initial ideas:
- Will we win a MNC again in my lifetime? (Or in the next ten years, the next five years, etc.)
- Will Rodriguez still be coaching at Michigan three years from now?
If I've only got one question, I think I'd have to ask the first one. If the answer is no, I might as well kill myself now, but if it's yes, at least I know I have something to live for.

Dear 8 ball, why does Jeff DeFran still have a job? His opinions mean nothing, he has no insider information, and the worst part about it is that he is not entertaining whatsoever. Please answer this one question and I can go to sleep.

I am hoping for a playoff that takes the "M" out from in front of "MNC" soon. A few more rounds of conference expansion might be enough to get one. But, to answer your questions in Magic 8-ball format:
1. It is decidedly so.
2. You may rely on it.
