Our freshman punter/occasional pk, Will Hagerup, gets a personal foul for mixing it up with with an Illinois strong safety after the whistle after a kickoff.
You rock, Will. That's a football player.
Space Emperor in the making
the Emperor lives!
haha love it The Space Prince of Space
I'll add another minor thing...
Where the hell was Lloyd?
We won and I didn't have to see his sad puppy face.
Now, I wouldn't mind a happy Lloyd photo during/after this game...but his face has only meant doom the previous three games.
That was hagarup who got the personal foul. They may be hope for our special teams yet.
Figure it out.
Now if only he could kick off.
And kick FGs Flutie style!
I wouldn't be too upset. He's a punter who we're making kick off because our kickers are, well, our kickers. I think he's doing pretty well (I don't think Zoltan ever had to kick off), and I'm happy he's willing to get into it with the other team and try to make a play.
from Lewan and Molk. Our punters will kick your dad's a$$.
can never be a bad thing. I suspect that would instantly impress the team unless it was a costly penalty.
If Zoltan would have kicked off, the ball might have come down on the other side of the Mongolian Barbecue downtown.
You mean after taking a trip around the universe, right? People always failed to forget that if Zoltan punted the ball 50 yards, it was infinity + 50 yards because it went in and out of the giant black hole at the center of the universe...twice. But don't worry, he was gentle.
Punters love this stuff. I teach at a small university, and have our starting tight end, d-tackle, and punter/kicker in my class. After our last game (got them in the playoffs by beating our arch-rival), all the kids could talk about was how the kicker had hit a guy so hard that he both a) got a personal foul and b) knocked the other kid out of the game.
