See... I remember Mosher-Jordan having some of the better cafeteria food, though Stockwell was always the best.  I even sometimes made the trip from East Quad specifically to eat at Stockwell because EQ's cafeteria was that bad.

The rumors of East Quad's poor dining have been greatly exaggerated.  This RC alum ate just fine there for two years, and found the fare at South and West to be just about exactly the same.

That being said, the Halfass curly fries...  Good lawd.  Mix that with some disaffected youth blasting Neutral Milk Hotel, man, I'm getting all nostalgic.  Spent many a meal credit down there on burgers, fries, and pints of Ben and Jerry's.

I honestly remember the fake meat in the veggie dishes being better than the real meat.  So I often hit the veggie dishes.  Then I went on the meal plan where you only get a handful of meals a week, but a pile of entree plus points.  I lived off the various places in the Union after that.

The only thing I miss are the M branded waffle makers.

He's no different from anybody else... It's what you eat late at night that piles on the pounds. That's why most magic diet pills and weight loss plans specify that you take their pill or eat their menu at dinner and then don't eat anything else before going to bed—they know that it's the midnight pizza and the 1am fudge ripple that's the killer.

The killer isn't that you're eating the midnight pizza and 1 AM fudge ripple, it's that you're eating the pizza and fudge ripple.  The time you eat the food is irrelevant.

EDIT: Reread this and I kind of came off as a dick; that is not intentional.  I get what you're saying, if someone is sticking to a diet plan, then screws it up late at night, then they're obviously not going to be losing weight.

Once you drop that bad weight, Coach will put you on a steak diet, my friend. Then thing'll be okay.

If it makes it any easier, I had a cup of soup and a salad for lunch. (But the soup was cheddar baked potato and I covered the salad in full-fat ranch, so...)
