Woa that explains so much.  I dated an Aussie girl & she would never set her knife down when eating, instead using her off hand to operate the fork.  I felt kinda silly when I realized how inefficient my technique of constantly setting down my knife & passing my fork from hand to hand was.  Then again, I eat so fast usually that I think I appreciate how this keeps me at a reasonable pace.

and keep it in the right hand the entire time.  As a vegetarian, I rarely have dishes that require a knife to cut the food, so the fork can stay in my dominant hand the entire time.  That's probably very gauche of me, but oh well.

That's how I used to do it (and still do except at nicer restaurants/occasions). I got corrected by my wife with some gentle nagging. :) It makes more sense to me though, I don't need to cut with that much precision so left hand with the knife is fine, more important is not sticking my fork in my eye because I have no coordination with my left hand.

After tasting some of that dorm food at MoJo, every student gravitates towards the salads and sandwiches. The only two good choices + fries.

heard he went to a mostly vegi diet a couple weeks prior to heading into town anyway, in order to make sure he dropped a few pounds.  So, at least it's not completely foreign.

I've seen the recipe posted online, but it is more of a chicken dish poured over rice the way they describe it there, but when I ate it in South Quad it was more of a one pot dish all mixed together (and absolutely incredible).

If I recall correctly, there is actually a poster here with the handle "Chicken Broccoli Bake" who knows pretty much all there is to know on the subject, and he can probably shed some light on how to make it the "real" way for ultimate deliciousness.
