Olympic Sports Weekend
I've run out of time to keep doing my Michigan Sports weekend diaries. I think there has been some solid interest in what's going on, specifically with volleyball and men's soccer. Hell, there were even some people who made it out to field hockey and could tell me about women's rugby and rowing. That said, I don't have the time to keep up on all of it anymore.
That said, I'll put up a schedule of the weekend here so perhaps those who like a reminder of what's happening this weekend will have something.
Hockey:
Friday 7pm @Lake Superior St
Saturday 7pm @Lake Superior St
Volleyball:
Friday 7pm vs Wisconsin
Saturday 7pm vs Iowa
Women's Soccer:
Friday 8pm @Iowa
Sunday 2pm @Illinois
Women's Swimming:
Friday 12pm @Texas (also with Indiana)
Men's Tennis:
Friday-Monday @MSU (BigTen Individuals)
Field Hockey:
Saturday 1pm vs Indiana (last regular season game)
Men's Soccer:
Sunday 1pm vs Northwestern
Men's X-country:
Sunday 10:45am @PSU (BigTen Championships)
Women's X-country:
Sunday 11:30am @PSU (BigTen Championships)
Women's Golf:
Monday-Tuesday @Texas
I'll be trying to continue more detailed posts on volleyball, as that's more my particular fall season interest. Those may be intermittent over the next few weeks.
My work schedule is all over the place right now as baseball season (I'm an umpire) should be ending by mid-December in these parts. Discuss as you will.

It's Wisconsin -- always solid, just beat Michigan three weeks ago. Is Lexi's thumb better? Has communication and passing improved? Has the team learned to remain calm and not get frustrated? We shall see!
Pink meet. Prizes for those who wear pink, but the Other Family -- male and female -- are not much for pink clothing, so we are out of luck.

They let set 1 slide away and are trailing in 2. Sloane is having a rough night.
Update: after losing two they came out strong after the break. Some subs -- Bruck and Busch. Let's see if they can take the last two.

Bad passing, Lexi really hampered by the splint sometimes, and whatever was up with Sloane. Hope it gets sorted out by tomorrow, which we might not be able to attend between taking the little one trick or treating and the big one to a birthday party.

The Lexi injury is going to hurt. This will probably be a nagging injury for at least 3 more weeks. This isn't a horrible loss, but no loss is a good one.
Weird that Sloane has such an off game after having such a great run last week. Maybe it was just an off night.
