Obviously Davis & White with the gold, but I'm not sure who the others were. Davis & White again?

Carl Hagelin won silver with the Swedish hockey team and Davis and White won bronze in the team figure skating event.

I am ashamed

If Hagelin counts as a silver medal all by his lonesome then they clearly did the math wrong. That means we get two each for Davis and White and that makes it 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze.

were the only American multi-medalists in Russia.

Steve Holcomb had two bronzes, no?
February 23rd, 2014 at 9:37 PM ^
Didn't Holcomb and Langton earn medals in both the two- and four-man bobsled competitions at Sochi?

Looks like USAToday lied.

The B1G does a really nice job developing the olympic sports. But, I guess that's a bit expected with the winter olympics, and then in summer they have things like volleyball, gymnastics, and wrestling, which all have pretty big B1G followings.
Still nice to see though. I think the B1G and the PAC 12 do the best job developing the non-revenue sports as well.

Space C,
Also a huge hunk of the U.S. men's swim team usually comes from Univ of Michigan and/or Club Wolverine. We get to count Michael Phelps because he was indeed a U of M student, even though he burned his college eligibility to turn pro. The world record breaking 4x200 free relay in the 2008 Olympics was virtually all Club Wolverine.

I believe he is an OSU fan, at least that's implied. As best I can recall, he said "Meryl Davis is truly hideous, and I'm not just saying that because she went to Michigan." Besides posting a truly asinine thought for all to see about an Olympic champion who is apparently a very nice person, this middle-aged guy is balding, overweight, and buggy-eyed. Lo, the terrific ironies.

Counterpoint to your asshole friend: My GF spent the whole Olympics, every single time Meryl Davis came on screen, saying, "She's beautiful," and, "Her face is amazing."

I feel even less genial toward him after this episode. When my wife relayed his comment to me, my immediate thought was "ballsy, considering how ugly he is." She agreed.
