Ole Coach Freeze at it again.....Holds his own funeral
Freeze said Monday that he staged a mock funeral for himelf as a way of getting his team to recognize how to work for the results they want.
I really hope we are the ones who puts him in the body bag.

Should we send flowers? Think of his children...

He doesn't support Satellite Camps because he needs to spend time at his own fake funeral.

In lieu of flowers, send bagmen

This is the best string of humorous comments in the history of MGoblog since I started reading it. +1 for each of you.

The real conundrum is what the card with the flowers should say. Should we give our condolences to the family, players and university for having to go through the funeral for Coach Freeze, or do we give them to the players and university for still having Coach Freeze after the funeral is done?

Should be Ole MISS Coach Freeze... the only one who gets the Ole designation is Spurrier.
August 24th, 2016 at 1:53 PM ^
Wow. That whole italiicized quote from him seems incredibly hypocritical.

Freeze said Monday that he staged a mock funeral for himself as a way of getting his team to recognize how to work for the results they want.
Is he looking for his team to help him out with assisted suicide? I don't get what his goal is here. Then again, I haven't understood much of what Freeze has done.

A coaching strategy modeled on anti-smoking PSAs of the mid to late aughts. Bold. Contemporary.

Shouldn't he have been spending time with his family instead of doing his job?

I totally understand planning your own funeral. My wife would have ham and potato salad. No way, there's a local guy that does boasted pork chops, I would have him cater and have the bakery do a cake buffet.
August 24th, 2016 at 2:07 PM ^
Broasted pork chops? Sounds fantastic.
Ribeyes around at my funeral, but pork chops, particularly of the broasted variety would be awfully tough to turn down.
August 24th, 2016 at 2:48 PM ^
I looked into ribeyes, but they were twice the cost. I don't love em that much.
August 24th, 2016 at 4:37 PM ^
Why does the cost matter? In fact why does it matter what everyone is eating? You're dead! They could eat cardboard at my funeral for all i care.
August 24th, 2016 at 6:01 PM ^
Yes, broasted--saw that technique on a Guy Fieri show. You pour a fresh PBR over the chops every half-hour. Don't take them out until they're way overdone...
August 24th, 2016 at 9:58 PM ^
Cake buffet? Can I come?
August 24th, 2016 at 2:02 PM ^
So I created my funeral scene. And a lot of that had to do with the events of this past few weeks, it’s coming. It happens. We don’t know when it happens but we won’t cheat death.
Regarding cheating death, I am pretty sure that if you give Death a wad of cash and a nice automobile, you can at least put it off so long as he has eligibility. Of course, don't greyshirt Death because then it will remind you of your obligation to its own personal enrichment.
It is kind of interesting though - let's talk about results by staging the aftermath of the ultimate result.

The car came from his Aunt Millie. Her name is on the title. Why is this so hard for you northerners to comprehend?
August 24th, 2016 at 2:07 PM ^
So the strategy here is, I bought several top recruits out of my own pocketbook and I finally got busted by the NCAA. If I serve the 2 game suspension, the thought of me being fake dead will inspire you to play better on the field?
Can someone translate for me? I'm not a big family man like Freeze so I'm pretty lost.

If we don't go to the playoff I pray to God that we get Ole Miss in a bowl game just so Harbaugh can run up the score on Hugh Freeze.

During SEC media days Freeze answered every negative question as if the reporter was taking a shot at Freeze himself. Dude is cheating, knows he's cheating and answers any allegation with a nuh uh type response.
