How is this old news if Jones just texted his decision date and visit plans out? Are you from the future? Did we land Da'Shawn Hand? What about Adoree or Artavis? Did Brady Hoke develop a triple point manuever?? So much I want to know...

Here's an article from May 6th talking about the June 27th commitment date, and his desire to visit all of his finalists before he commits. Wonder why reporters were treating it as something new?

Yeah, looking back this is basically all the same news that came out of the May 5th Chicago Nike camp. He announced his final four, a decision date, and plans to visit all four schools there. Maybe the 1pm time for the announcement was the new "news."
In regards to the Brady Hoke thing. He did invent the three point manuever and when asked about it all he had to say was this:

So 3 weekends till his decision, someone is getting a weekday visit I would think. With school ending though I guess it wouldn't really mean a lot.

I hope he goes to Sparty. Pains me to say it, but they really need a win. I'm beginning to feel bad for them.

The only way I hope any recruit chooses Sparty is if he changes his mind at the last minute on NSD. For that matter, I would love it if every single one of Sparty's recruits reneged and signed with someone else on NSD.

Not really. If any school has a lead right now it is probably OSU.
I thought he recently said that Ohio does not have a lead and that he doesn't know where that vibe is coming from? That said, he could be trying to keep the suspense up, but hopefully it's still wide open.

He is sitting at 23 for 23 to Ohio State according to 247's Crystal Ball. Their track record isn't great so far, but that is as much of a lock as it gets with their Crystal Ball (most players have between 0-10 predictions, so 23 is on the high side).
the m block quote is to be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. as we know, 17 year old kids tend to say what they think their interveiwers want to hear. just like jabrill peppers in the days leading up to his announcement said that he was wide open and that michigan was not his leader. we know that wasn't true. seems similer with winovich and countless other examples. i'm not saying that he is leaning towards OSU, but i am saying that that the m block quote isn't worth the paper it's written on and therefore you should discount appropriately.
I believe that if we get him on campus we have a chance but looks to be all buckeye so far.
