On the one hand, I don’t think OU plays any elite defenses in the Big 12. But they did destroy a very good Ohio State defense. And on the other hand, our defense hasn’t faced a truly explosive offense. Wish we could test out the Donny B. D against a great offense.

I’m sorry, but Michigan’s defense is very overrated and would get absolutely shredded by Baker Mayfield. Trace McSorley and Dwayne Haskins did pretty much whatever they wanted against it.

An Oklahoma loss would eliminate OSU. 2 loss OSU is not getting in over 2 loss OU when OU beat them in the shoe, and OU isn't getting in if they lose their conf championship game. If OSU and OU both win, OSU is in the playoffs over Bama.

Do you think OSU also needs “style points” in their win? Meaning, in order for OSU to get into the playoff, they need to not just win but beat Wisky like they did a few years ago (59-0)?? The GameDay crew mentioned it a few times today...I had just assumed if OSU won, they’d be in because the Playoff Committee wouldn’t leave out the B1G. Curious what you think...

Wisconsin is a good team. As long as OSU wins without Burrow seeing meaningful snaps, they are in. Alabama's schedule was just too soft for them to be included without a conf championship.

I tend to agree with you, and although it would suck to see OSU in again I’d hate to see the B1G get shafted in favor of two SEC teams. Nevertheless, if OSU does get in over Bama, there will be lots of talking heads arguing in favor and against it (fair or unfair).

Just have to hope for a Wisconsin win. Either way, Auburn or Clemson would be a tough matchup for OSU in the playoffs with how strong their defensive fronts are.
