Ok, the wheels are in motion to attend every Michigan Big Ten game this year ...

Submitted by IUandUofM on

All but secured all the tickets for all the home and away games.  I would love to attend EVERY game (never did that before), but I have to miss the Bowling Green game.  Still exciting to try to make it to all the Big Ten games though including Notre Dame.  It is a good year to do so, seeing I have to endure living here in Columbus, where the longest away game drive is for Penn State at about 6 hours.

Anyone else going to try to do same thing?

I'll be going to all the home games plus @ ND. Had an opportunity to get PSU tickets, but have already been there and would rather spend Halloween in Ann Arbor.  Purdue is a possibility though, went there in 2004 and have great memories.

I'm going to 10 games, consisting of all home games plus ND, Purdue, and OSU. Penn State just wasn't happening due to cost and its being on a weekend I have something else big planned, and IU is, well, IU. Only reason I'm going to Purdue is because I couldn't find tickets for my dad to go to ND or OSU, so we settled on going to Purdue to make up for it.

I will be attending every home game and @ ND.  My buddies and I are possibly planning on making trips to Indiana & Purdue as well but that is up in the air.  I wanted to make it out to Penn St. but I think I will wait until they rotate back onto our schedule to do so.

I too would be interested as to why you are missing the Bowling Green game.

I'm broke and have to move out of my apartment with my family to save money.  I consider myself fortunate to have been to the "Big House" for a couple games and will be fortunate to ever make it again.  Hopefully those of you who go every year will enjoy it enough for those of us who can't.  It'll be a miracle if I see every game on TV this year....

Wow, it would be great to attend every home and away game. I work many Saturday's and it is a 14 hour drive to A^2.  I try to catch the team on the road in Iowa City or Urbana. Every 2 to 3 years I get back to MI for a home game.  Have fun and make some noise!!!!

I've been trying to find tickets for the game at Notre Dame with no luck other than $140 for singles on stubhub!  2 years ago the Michigan ticket office released some for this game, but when I contacted them this year, they stated that they wouldn't have any available!

I've been going to every game since '96.  Well technically I have missed 4 games in that time period.  Even though work keeps me real busy, this is a great way to get away on weekends in the fall.  Over time you start to recognize a lot of the regulars who also make most of the trips, make new friends, develop favorite restaurants & traditions in the Big 10 cities, and get occasionally get to see some new cities that you would never normally go to like Eugene, OR.  Since they always do more home games than away, it isn't as tough or as expensive to do as one would think.  Other than bowl games usually you don't have to fly and typically there are only 3 or 4 games in which you need to get a hotel for.  I highly recommend it for anyone who loves Michigan football.

I've only going to one game this year, and that's just because my Dad's friend withh season tickets was moved to Kansas because of his job. I've only been to 3 in my whole life, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Eastern Michigan. I actually get to go to the MSU game this year, which is pretty cool. Be thankful for what you guys have.
