I thought this was a pretty well written column, and interesting. Also talks about some other topics at the bottom: Bobby Knight criticizing Calipari, the "Green Game", and the GMAC bowl coverage. I'm surprised this article was on the ESPN website, it was a little bit hidden though.
Ohlmeyer column on ESPN's coverage of Leach
On a previous thread.
I searched for "Leach", and the the link, and scrolled back and I didn't find it. Damnit. My apologies.
at 11:14am. Sorry you missed it. Search Ohlmeyer.
There is no mention of Leach in the OP, and the link is cut off with an ellipsis. I will search more extensively next time.
I've kind of come to the conclusion that a safe rule is that if the article is more than a day or two old it's already been discussed here.
I was surprised it hadn't been discussed when I searched for it. I should have just assumed I hadn't searched hard enough.
EDIT: Also, I love the "trading places" reference. That is classic.
Haha. Thanks. Some get it, some don't.
Other topics previously discussed: the fact that nobody wants to see these fucking comments pointing out that something has already been posted. Save your energy and just ignore double posts; those who don't read every post on the MGoBoard appreciate them.
The fact that is has been discussed is not a matter of opinion.
"Speak for yourself, I like this topic and I want to take away all the MGoPoints from people who repost! Don't they READ the MGOBOARD? C'mon!" I bet you think it's really cool to have a "handle" that refers to one of Brian's inside gags. OMG shirtless! That's me! tee hee hee.
The fact that nobody wants to see these fucking comments pointing out that something has already been posted
There are many posters that enjoy the comments pointing out that something has already been posted. I am not the only one, as several people make a point of pointing out when a topic is a repost.
Really I just wanted to try out the Tropic Thunder Soundboard thing. And this seemed like the proper place.
So are all new threads about football and recruiting off limits? That shit gets beaten to death here...
I'm a 10-15 pages back on the mgoboard kind of guy myself. If I don't see it in the past couple days and I'm interested, I'm pretty sure someone else will too.
I really don't care, but don't be surprised if someone points out that a topic has been beaten to death. I don't give two shits if I get negged if I feel like being a dick when someone posts the 45th Lane Kiffin to USC thread, or 4th Conference Championship thread of the day.
I PosBanged the OP here. He admitted it was a double post and that he had tried using the search function, you can't ask for much more.
Some people just don't want to see this turn into the Rivals board, where there is a new thread started every 2 minutes with a topic like..."Did you see that pass?" "Re: Spath's post 3 below, he's out of line", "Did you see that those goons at MGoBlog are mocking us again??"
I highly recommend using the search function and the "recent posts" link in order to see the 25 or so threads that have been posted in most recently as opposed to the front page table that just shows 10 topics in order of creation.
It seems the OP is getting taken behind the electic shed on this one.
