I thought the wavy stripes were reflections, but on closer inspection I believe they are bacon. Does that mean we have to now like OSU? I mean come on... BACON!

Then they ruined them. For some reason, when they went to the new modern sleeves that fit around the shoulder pad, they eliminated most of the silver on the uniform, which used to be a wide band. The silver combined with the scarlet was what made the uniforms good. Now they look like a version of Wisconsin.

Their road jerseys are grey and white. Before I even knew who or what Ohio State was to Michigan, I was appalled. I remember as a second grader seeing Michigan on every Saturday on ABC. We only had two channels. Their was this really highly ranked Ohio State team that just had the ugliest colors. Made me think of grey boring Saturday fall afternoons. They choked a lot too. I thought man these guys suck. Guess we cant say that nowa days!

I would like nothing more than for Michigan to come out with some Chuck' E' Cheese ass looking cartoon wolverine on the helmet for a game. Scrap the wings, just a goofy snarling wolverine.
If nothing more than just to gauge how many people on here would literally* stroke out. It would make my week reading that meltdown thread...

You need to have some near-riots in whatever constitutes the Diag for you guys. Make sure you have someone dress up in Michigan colors to show that you'd rather support the Wolverines than your AD.
It would especially help if you have some incriminating emails on your AD by some guy called "Buckeye Devotee".

What is the point of an alternate helmet? For alternate jerseys, I can understand the rationale - they're a merchandising grab. But is there really a big market for people looking to buy a replica alternate helmet?

It's about the student-athletes and recruiting (mostly recruiting). Kids do pick schools based on uniforms and I know this first hand as dumb as it sounds.
