It's Urban's subtle dig at Nebrska:  "We're taking their nickname."

His plan against Sparty is to steal a committed recruit each year.

...fake sports teams names that I would see when I lived in Germany in the early '80s. Pittsburg Hawks and their ilk. They're sold to gullible citizens of other countries who want a piece of USA culture and don't know the difference (and to maneuver around trademarks).

That's not a mascot name. It's a size label. It's for women's XXXXL Ohio sweatshirts. The bookstore in Cbus thought it might be less offensive to "plus" size Buckeye fans of the fairer sex to call them "Huskers" than "fattys."

Nice.  Not uncommon, though.

I remember seeing a local news report the day before the 96 MSU game, some sports store in Detroit got a shipment of 500 sweatshirts and t's.  All of them said Michigan Spartans and the Michigan State Wolverines.   I'm sure somebody got fired for that.

They're just trying to get all of the vanquished M opponents on one sweatshirt, but they forgot the golden colored hood. Not a big deal, they'll do a better job with the 2012 version:

"The Ohio Husker Tide with limited edition golden hood, complete with a realistic personal foul flag"
