since this thread is already going in several directions....

pfholland: Why does apple want us to end every message with "by the way, I have an iphone. I just thought you needed to know which products I'm buying. Again."

I suppose it's advertising, but only to a demographic that most people I know wouldn't want to be associated with.

"sent from my mobile device" accomplishes the excuse for brevity/punctuation while being much less douchey. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying all apple users are douches, (some apple products can be useful) I just question the wisdom of advertising your brand as a brand for assholes. There was some guy down the wall who posted just "sent from my iphone" and it reminded me..

I think he was refering to the JoePa picture, and if so I agree. I mean who would run the power cord for their computer down the front of their desk?

But it is a hilarious picture nonetheless.

Reminds me of the intro of some book talking about a fictional presidential race where one guy lost every state except his home state, and the opponent called for a recount there because...why not?

Edit: Does the little global map in the corner confirm my suspicions that the Atlantians and other sea-dwelling peoples also believe Fickell is dirty as hell?
