Here's the thing - in the "second" round (fucking dumb) there are 32 games.  Half of them involved 1 and 2 seeds (upsets very unlikely to happen) or 7 and 8 seeds (games that aren't really upsets no matter who wins).  That leaves 16 games.  Some of those involve teams that most people don't care about, leaving about a dozen games from which to pick "upsets." 

Since Ohio is a Mid-Major who has upset a big name school in the recent past, they're going to be a sexy pick here.  Not everyone will say them, but if an analysts is picking 2-3 upsets out of a pool of 10-12 games, a good chunk of them will say M - OHIO.

The last time Beilein lost an opening round game in the NCAA tournament was 1996 at Canisius. The last time in the NIT was 1994, also at Canisius. He has won 9 consecutive opening round games in those two tournaments, going back to 1998 at Richmond. Sorry, Ohio.
