OH FB Trayion Durham Visiting This Weekend, Offered
Mike Dyer, who covers local sports/high school stuff for the Cincinnati Enquierer, tweeted these two gems earlier
Michigan has offered Colerain senior FB Trayion Durham, according to Colerain coach Tom Bolden
Colerain senior FB Trayion Durham will take an official visit to Michigan this weekend, says Bolden
Our own TomVH added his little take on the proceedings
Commitment might come soon RT @MikeDyer Michigan has offered Colerain senior FB Trayion Durham, according to Colerain coach Tom Bolden
For those of you who don't know, Trayion is a unanimous 3*, former Wiscy commit. Offered by Wiscy, Kentucky, Louisville, Minny, Cincy, BC, among others. Maybe Tom or someone can help me with this, but no word on whether or not MI FB Joey Kerridge still plans to walk on at M.

reminds me of a tank that's rolling down hill... This will be a nice pick up if we get him!
January 25th, 2011 at 10:45 AM ^
What a hoss. I was a high school linebacker and I hated playing guys like him.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:03 PM ^
Due to our complete lack of FB and the fact that this kid is unanimously seen as a top FB prospect I expect to see Durham on the field sooner rather than later. Of course, random thick white walk-on can always make it as a fullback, but at latest I see Durham starting his 2nd year.

McColgan's a senior next year. Hopefully, we could redshirt Trayion
January 24th, 2011 at 10:04 PM ^
Can he block though?
January 24th, 2011 at 10:05 PM ^
I'm going to take the scouts at their word. However, I could find literally no film of him lead blocking
January 24th, 2011 at 10:14 PM ^
I'm thinking that maybe with the pro style offense back, would Hoke consider moving Moundros back to FB?
January 24th, 2011 at 10:16 PM ^
Moundros doesn't have any more eligibility left.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:04 PM ^
Same school as Mister Simpson.. just wanted to say that name
January 24th, 2011 at 10:06 PM ^
And Cobrani Mixon
January 24th, 2011 at 10:17 PM ^
and BJ Askew.

,WIllingham, Clark, and Byrant commit as expected. That would give us 7 four stars and 18 commitments. Honestly, if you would have told me we have a legit shot at a class like that last week I might have slapped you.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:09 PM ^
That would be especially impressive over the internet
January 24th, 2011 at 10:13 PM ^
I know where you live... too much?
January 24th, 2011 at 10:28 PM ^
I've got a wife and kids...and a 12 gauge. I'm just kidding. Or am I?
January 25th, 2011 at 12:14 AM ^
it's really a 9 mil
January 25th, 2011 at 10:48 AM ^
but with hollow-points.

Through NSD would be nice, too

Magic doesn't need contact...in the traditional sense.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:31 AM ^
But please no kid touching.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:11 PM ^
It's likely that he'll commit to Michigan.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:14 PM ^
Rumor is that he is either a commit now, or will be shortly. If he is, and the other "rumored commits" are in, we have 19 commits, and will likely only sign 1 or 2 more. The problem being that we still have Fisher, Rawls, Barnett, Bellomy, Cooper, and McClure still out there.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:16 PM ^
This is not a problem I will be losing sleep over tonight
January 24th, 2011 at 10:16 PM ^
o/k, let's say he commits. That makes 16. Leaving Willingham, Bryant, Rawls, J.Fisher , Hoke is going out to visit McClure which is a long shot. Do we have room ?
January 24th, 2011 at 10:17 PM ^
Entered my comment before cypress, but same point.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
Loved Askew, but I think my favorite was Chris Floyd. My man was a beast.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:46 PM ^
You mind if we dance wich yo dates?
January 24th, 2011 at 10:54 PM ^
Fullback
Ever.
The hits he laid out picking up blitzes for Griese were absolute perfection.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:59 PM ^
That guy was tough-as-nails!
January 24th, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
Floyd was a beast, but my best ever goes to Jarod Bunch. He was a man. I remember being on the field after the spring game before his final season and his arms looked like hamburger from turf burns...despite the oozing and bleeding he was all smiles. Having had several turf burns myself I know how painful they are...that dude was tough! A great FB too.
January 25th, 2011 at 12:07 AM ^
Jarrod Bunch.
Man was a truck.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:23 PM ^
January 24th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
Could be, or they could just want a true FB. Anyway, we'll know by this weekend if Rawls is good to go. He should be visiting if his grades go through.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
List of commits and rumored commits:
1. RB Hayes
2. FB Durham
3. OL Posada
4. OL Miller
5. OL Bryant
6. DE Rock
7. DE Heitzman
8. LB Beyer
9. LB Poole
10. LB Willingham
11. LB Clark
12. LB Jones
13. LB Morgan
14. CB Countess
15. CB Carter
16. CB Hollowell
17. CB Brown
18. CB Taylor
19. K Wiles
They really only have 1 or 2 scholies left. I think they get Rawls and maybe Cooper
January 24th, 2011 at 10:26 PM ^
Although I think you can put Beyer at DE and Rock at DT in a 4-3 system. A couple of those CBs are undoubtedly DBs with the potential for safety as well
January 24th, 2011 at 10:47 PM ^
A couple of those CBs are undoubtedly DBs
Aren't all CBs undoubtedly DBs?
January 24th, 2011 at 10:52 PM ^
I think you missed the second part of the sentence where he says they're DBs that could be moved to safety. At least that's how I read it.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:59 PM ^
"A couple of the CBs have the potential to move to safety." Like that?
I read it as "Some of the CBs are DBs, and those could be safeties as well."
January 24th, 2011 at 11:04 PM ^
Yea that's how I read it, I can see the confusion though.
January 25th, 2011 at 7:18 AM ^
Thats how I meant it, thanks OMG
January 24th, 2011 at 10:29 PM ^
Wow! When you lay it out like that it is amazing to see how many defensive players we are getting in this class. Defense really is a priority. I like it!
January 24th, 2011 at 10:30 PM ^
I like the look of this list.
January 24th, 2011 at 10:34 PM ^
so you seem to think we have lost fisher then for good? thats too bad. seems like a good fit for this school
