Officially Official 2015 BBQ at the Big House thread
Somebody tried to start a BBQ at the Big House thread a week ago. But today's the day.
Here's a list of BBQ attendees:

Other then Corely, do we have hope for anyone else to commit?
This is a huge step, but we still trail both rivals. Hopefully we're even by the end of the BBQ. Speaking of which...I'm hungry. Time to get outside and do something with this beautiful day.

When I lived there in the 80s, I don't remember any really good BBQ. May be things have changed?
I agree with this.
I looked her up but - can someone explain to me who she is? A really good singer?

She sounds virtuous. Building a better America.

Yes--and certainly American pop music has a deep and rich tradition of virtuousity. Since this seems like more your speed than Nicki Minaj, here you go, some good American virtuousity for you. Rock on!

whether you like her style or not, at least recognize & give proper respect. Nikki Minaj is a talented, smart, barrier-shattering female rapper who hangs with the big boys. And yes, she's unrepentantly sexy, in a post-second-wave-feminism kinda way. In other words, she owns it: she actively shapes her own brand and sexuality, vs. getting played by the industry. All within, of course, the ever-present mandates of the market and popular culture in which we all operate... still, she pushes the envelope of race & beauty standards, as well as artists' control of their music and women's control of their sexuality.
She has a bit of attitude, true, but can also pay tribute. Not unlike a certain Head Wolverine, who has his days / quirks. Hey, if you're good...

How many times can I upvote this? MGoCulturalCritique!
I'm not a fan of either artist (as I'm more of a Public Enemy/Pixies/Sonic Youth/Meat Beat Manifesto kind of guy), but you could make a strong intertextual comparison between her career and Madonna's in examining third-wave feminism through the notion of women shaping their 'brands' as they control and celebrate the presentation of their own sexuality.
I can't disagree ... I can only agree. Mine too @NICKIMINAJ ! pic.twitter.com/IYw8eQUHcz

Magnus, who is that weather forecaster? I need to know! I'm going to see her profile in my dreams...
Her name is Yanet Garcia.
Sweet. Thanks--I'm googling her.
Congratulations to my nephew Sir Patrick Scott, just committed to play football at Michigan!!!! pic.twitter.com/vjop7hCdUH

Wait - is he also related to Marshawn Lynch?
JH looks like Ed O'Neil in that picture.
Sir Patrick is grabbing his package...and when he grabs his package, the whole team grabs their package. And you better be grabbing your package...
Rumors are going around that Michigan got 3 commitments today. I am assuming that Sir Patrick is one of them. The rumors come from one of the players parents.

Hope those guys from GA, AL and NC aren't put off by the frigid Michigan weather we've had lately.
