but I believe that most targets of whom you are talking about are visting next weekend e.g Yuri Wright, Monty Madaris, etc
Official visitors this weekend?
There are rumors (which mods on another site have corroborated) that we have stopped recruiting Yuri Wright
Wonder if that means good things about Reeves.
He got beat like a drum all week at his All American game. Obviously I wasn't there to see it, but that's the rumor.
Apparently his body lends him to the safety position more than the CB position, and we want a corner.
Also, apparently the raging tire fire that is PSU might be scaring Reeves into our welcoming arms.
So bad week + tire fire = no more Yuri.
Hope it all works out for the kid though.
We should know more about Wright, Madaris, and maybe others after next weekend. I can't imagine that our coaches would ask them to visit so late in the process without committable offers. It'll be interesting to see who comes.
1 or 2 "surprise" visitors were on campus today.
Peoria (Ill.) 2013 OT Logan Tuley-Tillman was at the men's bball game, and he tweeted a picture afterwards....
Uhhh, who is the little guy?
Also, anyone see them show Shane Morris during the basketball game? I mean a giant close up of just his head, obviously they knew who he was, but I don't think they could acknowledge he was going to UM because I"m pretty sure thats a violation of some sorts.
According to Tillman's twitter, it's Josh Kirshenbaum, a 2015(!) QB from Illinois. He was taking an unofficial and is friends with Logan. Here's some random profile of his: http://www.ncsasports.org/football-recruiting/il/normal/normal-community...
Considering Tuley-Tillman is 6'7'' and 290, I would say this kid is actually not that little.
Are they in the pisser?
Yes they are
I am trying to understand the thought process on the photo in the bathroom. Crop?
Come on, man. It's not like the shot was taken in mid-stream.
Pisser?? No, that is part of the new renovation at Crisler. They have urinals in the hallways now.
at the basketball game was conveniently located very near that of Shane Morris, as one can tell through their respective twitpics [pictures posted on twitter for the non twitter crowd]
I really hope we can land Logan Tuley-Tillman. The kid is a really hard worker, and has a great attitude about himself. He really loves Michigan, but we are going to have to fend off Alabama in the end.
How'd these guys get those jerseys?
Simple. They did a half-sleeve for Justin Boren.
i think the bigger question for me is why they're taking pics in the bathroom haha
A surprise recuit to finish off the 2012 class would be really nice. Garnett, Reeves, Grant and some high 4* or 5* surprise would be sweet.
Either way, I need to keep reminding myself what a great class we already have. Since most of the commits came early, it's been a little slow the past few months.
I hear that. I don't care what position he plays, I just want to land somebody with an awesome nickname. Watching all these bowl games, I've been a little envious of teams with guys called "Black Mamba" and the "Honey Badger." At least we've got Shoelace for one more year, so we can afford to sign someone on nickname alone, and coach him up during a redshirt season before unleashing him on the B1G.
What about Sugar Shane? Not as fun as Honey Badger or Black Mamba but it's a nickname right?
Not many nicknames can beat Honey Badger. It fits the kid so well.
I thought Black Mamba was Kobe.
anybody knwo the new targets . . they are paywalled on another site
I just woke up my wife. Thanks and now I think I am in trouble.
I heard that one is an OL but he doesn't want his name released (therefore he is probably a commit somewhere else currently)...FWIW.
It may be just too late to find the under the radar players for 2012.
Lest there be confusion, anti-Semitism tempts the banhammer with ferocity.
You may now return to your regularly scheduled recruiting speculation.
I thought that the name Kirshenbaum was from the German for "Cherry Tree," and not a traditionally Jewish, Yiddish, or Hebrew name. Is there something I'm missing?
...had some choice comments about the relationship between the descendants of Isaac, the quarterback position, and the University of Michigan. Roughly half of this thread disappeared as collateral damage. A good time was NOT had by all.
Anyone know who the new targets are? Andre McDonald? Another corner?
Where did you hear McDonald?
If Logan is 6'7" then the guy next to him has got to be at least 6'3", which would make him a decent sized QB, I mean no NBA QB like Mallett or Ostweiler.
and if he is a 2015 recruit, he's only 14-15 so he's going to grow. Geez, my son is in the class of 2015, how can I be getting this old.....
