Is there speculation as to why?S

Seems more than a little strage to drop a kid who is universally ranked as a top 100 player and has said Michigan was his favorite team growing up.

He got beat like a drum all week at his All American game. Obviously I wasn't there to see it, but that's the rumor.

Apparently his body lends him to the safety position more than the CB position, and we want a corner.

Also, apparently the raging tire fire that is PSU might be scaring Reeves into our welcoming arms.

So bad week + tire fire = no more Yuri.

Hope it all works out for the kid though.

We should know more about Wright, Madaris, and maybe others after next weekend. I can't imagine that our coaches would ask them to visit so late in the process without committable offers. It'll be interesting to see who comes.

Uhhh, who is the little guy?

Also, anyone see them show Shane Morris during the basketball game? I mean a giant close up of just his head, obviously they knew who he was, but I don't think they could acknowledge he was going to UM because I"m pretty sure thats a violation of some sorts.

A surprise recuit to finish off the 2012 class would be really nice. Garnett, Reeves, Grant and some high 4* or 5* surprise would be sweet.

Either way, I need to keep reminding myself what a great class we already have. Since most of the commits came early, it's been a little slow the past few months.

I hear that. I don't care what position he plays, I just want to land somebody with an awesome nickname. Watching all these bowl games, I've been a little envious of teams with guys called "Black Mamba" and the "Honey Badger." At least we've got Shoelace for one more year, so we can afford to sign someone on nickname alone, and coach him up during a redshirt season before unleashing him on the B1G.

Lest there be confusion, anti-Semitism tempts the banhammer with ferocity.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled recruiting speculation.

...had some choice comments about the relationship between the descendants of Isaac, the quarterback position, and the University of Michigan. Roughly half of this thread disappeared as collateral damage. A good time was NOT had by all.
