to play football, not to play trumpet
Not in the face.
That is 100% sweet.
With the new board formatting, how do I link to an individual comment now? You used to be able to click the comment number, and link that url, but there's no comment number now...
I feel great today.
what happened to that night? all got kinda fuzzy after about 7:30 last night...
IM STIL DRUNKK
puking up a beer and sonic double cheeseburger at 4AM. Now, I feel fine!
Will be celebrating all day also! If the Lions win then this weekend is complete. But if not, Michigan always holds off the disappointment from them. I hate to be sceptacle, but can you really stop DRob. If it wasn't for penalties we would of scored at least twice more in the fourth. Oh well, wheeeeeheeeew! GO BLUE!
Then ND would have had at least one fewer TD's, and we would have had at least one more posession.
so i will put it here:
i drank a lot yesterday so i didn't catch it until this morning but Brian Kelly looked like a poor loser. "The kid's tough. I'll leave it to coach to see if he can make it 10 games but... yeah... we hit him hard." Really Kelly? that rubbed me wrong.
as for Brian Kelly's play calling? and not going for the field goal at the end of the half?
And those words are about eight times nicer than anything he said to any of his QBs yesterday. Especially Nick Montana.
Kelly was in Seattle for the Washington-Syracuse game?
You mean Nate Montana. Nick Montana is a true frosh backing up Locker at UW.
Indeed I did, good call.
Also of note, when you google Nate Montana, you either get shirtless pictures or a mugshot. If only we could all be so lucky to have that result for our names.
Denard to Rountree all season long
Totally. That was a dick move by Kelly but it just adds to the hype for next years game under the stars.
Must find tickets! Maybe if I start now.
But definitely tough enough.
When you're QB is using the smelling salts counting 1, 2, 3, Watermelon, Baseball, 5, 7, 13...you know something is neurologically going on.
Brian Kelly should have sat Dayne Crist...what's the cost of another head shot? Does the Crist famiy really want to find out?
I lost a lot of respect for BK.
Can't wait to get into work tomorrow so I can needle my ND co-workers. It's Great, To Be, A Michigan Wolverine!
Also: Holy SHIT. That guy plays for US! AHHHHHHHH. AHHH! YAY. Yay. yay. i'm out of breath.
I work with so many domers. Winning this game will make the next 365 days just a lot sweeter.
Yay..now time to get a week 1 fantasy win.
If the Lions can make this a perfect weekend (which I expect since the bears blow), I might get drunk again in celebration!
I don't think it counts as a new drunk if you're still drunk ;).
Also again: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I went for a walk outside this morning. I thought it was a bit windy, but then I realized it was Denard running laps around my block.
Thanks for posting that...I have watched it 4 times now.
I've watched the "Drop the World" hype video at least fifty times by now. I get shivers every time Lil Wayne says, "I'm gone..." and I picture Denard jetting 87 yards. We're going to need a remix of that video pretty soon I think, but there haven't been too many moments to fill in the "sad" parts of the song, so maybe it's best left alone.
better than all the heisman hype, espn articles and good press would be if Lil' wayne would drop a line about Denard.
The best part is Denard's attitude. Fucking love this guy. QB EAGLES
Work got rained out, no hangover, more football, awesome day. Go Blue!!!
Went to Big Pour Four (awesome beer festival in Pittsburgh) yesterday, and sang the fight song the entire time after the game ended. Best way to celebrate a big win. It sucks that I didn't get to watch the game live, but woo smartphones!
Denard Robinson is my man crush. Ive never seen a guy this good and this humble
i loved the game yesterday but those close games like that kill me, i'm not sure if my liver can live up to the abuse it will get if many more games are like yesterdays.
Did a little pos-bangin' myself after that win.
Everybody dancing now
(looks around at the big burly men he thought would be women) *oh God....no, don't do it! PLEASE NO! I DON'T WANNA!!!!!!!!!!!! I CHANGED MY MIND!
in the back giving a big thumbs up!
The girl in the front row seems conflicted.
I threw my hat four times during the game yesterday and we still won! If that's not evidence that we're finally at a place where we can play poorly and win, then I don't know what is!
Careful, vintage Magnum PI hats can be hard to come by.
Even the prospect of work today cannot dampen my happy mood.
If you love denard
You're my boy, Blue!!!
In the words of Oliver Twist, "Please Sir, I want some more".
we come here to talk football to say "I'd like some more of that" is stupid.
YOU ARE ON THE INTERNET!!! if you didn't know there's this thing called online pornography where you can look at naked girls all day long...
the unexpected naked girl is always good, no?
some people look at this board at work. it's stupid and irrelevant to football. I don't come Here to see girls in bikinis or side/bottom boob. I come here to learn more about Michigan sports.
honestly the girls make this board like mile or the rivals free board. it degrades the quality of the board.
"I'm blowing off the work they pay me to do reading about football, and it's inappropriate that they may see me looking at hot chicks instead" reasoning.
I never thought I'd run into a social discourse discussion with a feminist perspective on the board. What's going on indeed.
I find the "I'm not doing my job looking at the board at work" line a bit sketchy also.
Who had fun yesterday? Can I get a hell yeah?
Brian says, "If you could bottle Denard Robinson's smile, it would light up the universe."
I say, if you could bottle my smile while watching Denard Robinson, I too would light up the universe.
AAAAAAnnnnd... to ND..
Hell with Notre Dame
all of the bitching and moaning about not winning by enough and that if crist was in the whole game we'd lose. or that omg we didn't play well our defense is not good I'm so worried.
it's ridiculous you are a fan. just enjoy the wins. enjoy watching this team grow and get better. I remember people last week said "there's no way denard can do that again."
he did we won! enjoy it for Christ sakes. I know I did.
GO BLUE...and today, GO LIONS
Go Blue and strangely, my ND friends are having cellphone problems. I cant reach any of them
scored on the 95 yard play, I got like 30 texts from ND fans. Strangely, I didn't receive not one when DR scored and when the game ended. They decided to vent all their frustration on Facebook instead. Hahahaha
you have 30 friends who like ND?
With friends like these...
I have decided to grow them.
2 and Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
being re-charged in FNR building - part of the Michigan Memorial Phoenix Project.
ND alum at work has to wear a michigan shirt on monday. bwahahaha!
I like Denard Robinson because he wins games for the University of Michigan Wolverines.
In honor of Denard "that's six" Robinson, I'm eating lunch at Sonic.
I am really hungover and couldn't care less. Celebration drinking is awesome.
Pos bang me cause I pos banged ya'll
"It was more of [Crist's] head hitting the ground on a run," Kelly said. "He had some blurry vision. He was fairly lucid. We didn't consider it to be a concussion at all or we wouldn't have brought back in the game."
"He was not clear to go back out for the next series," Kelly said of Crist, adding that it was not a concussion. "I thought it was best until he got his bearings back, which took until the third quarter."
Color me ignorant but what causes someone to be only "fairly lucid" (which is quite optimistic from what I saw of the kid on TV) and have blurred vision other than concussion-type substances? Plus he clearly thought he was on the 40 yard line based on that last pass in the game. It just seems odd to me.
But I still find it abhorrent that he put him back in. I bet he doesn't remember anything about the game after the first drive. Winning is important, but not at the risk of some kid's BRAIN.
It's not even close. This is the best post of the day.
I'm posting it again, and I don't care:
He's probably hanging himself via his shoelaces right about now.
Everyone knows shoelaces don't stay tied
could marry into my family.
...your current brother-in-law?
It was a great win, but we still have a lot to work on. Hopefully we can work some things out over the next 2-3 weeks.
debbie downer all up in our pos bang thread
your post should look something more like this
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. IRISH TEARS OF UNFATHOMABLE SADNESS
In the words of Tate Forcier in the Countdown to Kickoff video...
But then I read the board last night, saw how everyone says we suck and were lucky to win and will never win again, and then I was depressed.
Aw, who am I kidding, I'm still jacked!!!
UNTIE YOUR SHOES
100% Columbian awesome my friends!
I generally like to take my shoes off before a good bang. Today, I just untie the laces.
Too bad a lot of my coworkers (slackers all) will undoubtedly find many things to complain loudly about, so that they sound discerning. They do not. Enjoy this people, this is a special time for Michigan. There will be bumps in the road, but if we hold the course it will be Michigan Again!
