This is your virtual pep rally!
Sounds like Payne isn't playing due to injury; Dawson is out for sure. Those playing have lingering injuries.
But the game is in East Lansing.
I think the stress-drinking from 6:55 - 9:00 tomorrow will lead to a pretty stong handover on Sunday.
around here much lately. Is the consensus that Izzo is lying his ass off and that Payne is definately playing? Just curious.
Hobbits love drama. Of course he's exaggerating. Payne will play.
Not at you ypsituckyboy... just reminded me of this.
I'll be completely honest. I have a dreadful old couch that my dog has overtaken as his glorified dog pillow. It needs to be burned. I'm more than happy to perform a couch immolation on Saturday evening to celebrate a UM victory.
My dog has been making use of my leg for other purposes. I'm wondering if I should burn it, too (the dog, the leg, either way).
that whole going to Final Four was kind of program defining. This game, beating a beat up State team on the road, would be, well, perhaps weekend defining but not a whole lot more than that. I mean, this is a big game but nothing like a tournament game. I would relax a little about this one, if we win, great, if we lose, we'll beat them at Crisler. I mean, that is not the attitude that I want the players to have but the basketball season is too long as a fan to live and die with every game like it is the last. For a game like this I am neither scared of expecting the best nor do I have to remind myself to expect the worst.
I often think about things in that same way, but I am then called "negative". Then I explain to the person that it's the reason why I'm not easily disappointed.
Make Izzo cry!!!
I don't care in what order, but as long as those 3 things are accomplished.
Izzo cry...is this a thing? I've seen posts like this aplenty this season - so wondered if I missed the meme.
Does Sparty burn the couches after a win, or after a loss, or both?
They seem to over react for both positive and negative emotions.
Save a couch, ride a Spartan
Save a couch, ride a Wolverine!
Her left foot is something I had to double take.
Did someone say ride the Wolverine?
Would anyone mind explaining where the "STAEE" spelling came from, and its meaning/significance? I've been too embarrassed to ask for the longest time, but I must know. Thanks
All the T-shirt slogans should be explained too (other than Lloyd Brady because well, it's Lloyd Brady). Still mad I cannot order a "Frightened Lads" shirt in a large...
Fans are passionate, and we feed off of that excitement.
But this is a good time to drop a Simpson's quote:
"If Washington scores, Happy fans will be looting and turning over cars in our nation's capital tonight."
that couch is being burned either way...
