The Official NSD Prediction Thread

6 players left on the board: Willingham, Clark, Barnett, Rawls, Cooper, Fisher.

I'm going 4 for 6.

We get Willingham, Clark, Barnett, and Rawls

Lose out for Cooper (Michigan St) and Fisher (Oregon).

Then Hoke gets pissed, rips off his tear-away shirt, and grabs another Purdue recruit.

On that which makes us the kings of wishful thinking. Of course I'm being honest, all the speculation and conjecture is veiled hope for our beloved Wolverines to beat the snot out of everyone else. Getting the best recruits available is the logical way to realize that action.

I'm virtually in the exact same boat as you are, with those 4 choosing to sign with us. One thing that worries me is that Willingham has a teammate at Colorado and lives in Colorado. I know we've heard that his Michigan visit was great, but I'm just not as certain with him as with the other 3. I'm fairly confident that he'll come to UM, but just for the sake of converstaion, what makes you so certain he'll come?

After NSD when can the coaches start to recruit the 2012 class? I know obviously they have been in some contact with players hence the posts of offers for 2010 kids but what are the rules is there a dead period for them or is it full force ahead?

I'll go the same, except it is Cooper we lose and Fisher goes Blue.  Really, can a life-long UM fan whose family lives in TR go to Oregon to play?... when the Hokester is just rolling?  Also, is it possible to choose Arkansas over Michigan?  So I think we only lose Cooper.

At 7:45 in the morning and WTKA does a piece called "recruiting roundup" every day M-F. Sam Webb AKA "the Michigan insider" hosts it and does a great job. Marc calls in every morning with an interesting/relevant question/comment for Sam. He honestly could probably co-host that segment. I think I've also heard him in the afternoon calling, but the morning show with Sam and Ira is the best AM sports talk show on the air. The sports I.Q. is what you would expect from a Michigan Sports talk show, and the guys do a great job. They also put the recruiting roundup on the podcast on their stations' website.

I predict that BKFinest approves of this thread and therefore I don't.

Honestly,

Clark,Rawls,Willingham-Michigan

Barnett-Leaning towards Michigan but not as certain as the above 3.

Fisher-Between UM and Oregon. Oregon concerns me. I think he goes blue (maybe just wishful thinking) based on distance/what others around him want but no confidence whatsoever.

Cooper-No idea. I believe Iowa, although for the life of me I don't know why.

I totally agree with you about Cooper.  How can a parent trust Iowa with their kids? This college, that in the past couple months, have had several black marks against it for example players kicked out of the program and not to mention sending a dozen kids to the hospital with an "unexplained illness".

For a couple hours yesterday, the real Devin Gardner was using your design on twitter as his picture/avatar/whatever. Like the one I have as my picture, 'cept with the "Devin Gardner" subtitle...you see that?

Willingham, Clark, Barnett, Rawls, Cooper, Fisher

Willingham - Blue

Clark - Blue

Barnett - Blue

Rawls - Blue

Cooper - Blue

Fisher - Oregon

5 out of 6 with Cooper the most likely to not end up Blue.

Willingham - Blue

Clark - Blue

Barnett - Blue

Rawls - Blue

Cooper - Blue

Fisher - Oregon

Then Hoke turns Beavers Blue snubbing the Illini.  (I kind of feel like we missed the boat on Beavers...given our needs up front.)
