Makes sense to me as well... I know some wanted Jackson but the problem is it scares others away from interviewing for the DC job and it could be akward for him if he didn't get the DC next year.

I just hope for the bowl game  we stay with the aggressive defense we've run this year and not the bend but don't break style we had for much of Greg's tenure as DC.

I know we have more guys to be able to run an aggressive style than we had previously under Mattison but still, we'll see.

yeah their OL has really struggled.  and the QB has not played well either.

hopefully the DL can dominate fla's OL and the D as a whole locks down the run game - obviously all Os tend to struggle and become more beatable when 1 dimensional but the QB harris and fla O struggle more than most when forced to throw the ball and forced into longer 2nd and 3rd downs.

rudock and his receivers have demonstrated they can move the ball at times via air and manufacture some explosive pass plays despite lack of traditional run game which should give them a slight edge - if they can limit turnovers and short fields, michigan should be able to score a few more than fla
