Denard at 75%??? I thought RR said he was good to go?
September 30th, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
75% = normal person at 200%.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:26 PM ^
probably just a little gamesmanship on RR's part...maybe they might waste time prepping for multiple qb's?
September 30th, 2010 at 9:57 PM ^
I think he just has him there to make Indiana prepare for Devin and Tate too.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:02 PM ^
We could be Purdue fans.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:06 PM ^
I must have missed something...
I wasn't aware that Shaw wasn't going to be playing. So we're looking at Smith/Hopkins/Cox for this one?
September 30th, 2010 at 10:10 PM ^
I just hope Hopkins can hold on to the damn ball and Cox can find the right hole.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:16 PM ^
I can't seem to remember anything you've typed once I've finished reading it.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
Am I overlooking something? Is there text in his posts?
September 30th, 2010 at 10:34 PM ^
Is it a coincidence that the M picked the bigger boob?
October 1st, 2010 at 7:56 AM ^
did you get that pic?
September 30th, 2010 at 10:19 PM ^
"I just hope Cox can find the right hole."
September 30th, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
Ugh! I missed that the first time through.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:45 PM ^
Which hole is Cox trying to find?
September 30th, 2010 at 11:03 PM ^
...that Shavodrick Beaver didn't commit.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:42 PM ^
No amount of Beaver jokes would be worth not having Denard.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:05 AM ^
Cox is going to find the hole after some backside cuts...

Mgovaliant - Where can I find a full sized (preferably life sized) picture of your Avatar? For educational purposes only. Thank you.

thats what she aaid
September 30th, 2010 at 10:09 PM ^
Shaw and Fitz were day-to-day throughout the week and I guess they would rather keep them out and let them fully heal by the State game, hopefully.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:10 PM ^
we will see Smith have a solid day since he figures to be the feature running back. All though it may not matter depending on how many times Denard carries.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
I hate that nagging voice that keeps me from predicting a blowout this Saturday. The only fact said voice has is the Shaw injury. I don't want to even touch the Dilithium could get injured idea, but the Shaw injury gives me a 1% anxiety about our ability to break a big play with our RBs. After Denard puts up 2 quick tds this anxiety shall fade away, right?
September 30th, 2010 at 10:17 PM ^
I was thinking the same thing.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:13 PM ^
The real question: will Lloyd Brady be at the game?
September 30th, 2010 at 10:16 PM ^
I know that he's VERY excited about the game.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:58 PM ^
Lloyd Brady is listed at 75% (chipped tooth).
September 30th, 2010 at 10:13 PM ^
Something good comes out of this, we get a couple of solid players back on defense back. Not that it will cure all of our problems but hopefully it will help plug up a few holes.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
I'm imagining Indiana fans staring in disbelief at the field after Denard goes all Heisman on them screaming, "WHAT WAS THAT 75% CRAP!"
September 30th, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
WHAT!!!?!?!?!
September 30th, 2010 at 10:16 PM ^
RR isn't one to screw around with the injury report. Denard must not be back to 100% yet. D'ohh.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:18 PM ^
I was sure Tate would start before the season, but now I would watch with horror if he starts on Saturday. I still think Tate is a great QB, but I've been under Denard immersion for the last 4 weeks now and I just have to watch him carve up IU.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:19 PM ^
Grady said Denard at 25% is faster than most. I'll take 75% Dilithium as long as he stays healthy throughout the game.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:36 PM ^
Let's hope that isn't an augur for Saturday, or we'll be augered.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:10 PM ^
Well, those were also the first two snaps of Fitz's career. We don't know how many snaps he'd have gotten if healthy.
RR said on Monday or Tuesday that Denard was totally good to go, so I think this may be a bit of gamesmanship.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:38 PM ^
That actually looks quite tasty. I would eat that. Gittleson would approve.
EDIT: WTF happened to the burger thread?
September 30th, 2010 at 10:50 PM ^
deemed it too OT. Put the Kibosh on it. We all have problems because we all got used to posting in the off season.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
I'm hoping this turns out to be a blessing in disguise, with Hopkins/Cox/Smith breaking out with a big game. Would have loved to see more Toussaint though, as running through gaping holes doesn't show a whole lot.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:47 PM ^
He is our best blocking back
September 30th, 2010 at 11:05 PM ^
Not to be freaking out, but if Denard is still feeling that knee, that's not good. I hope playing him Saturday doesn't make matters worse...
And, my God, is Fitz ever going to be up to speed. I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do...
October 1st, 2010 at 8:28 AM ^
I wouldn't be too concerned with Denard. A bruised knee takes some time to heal. Its usually just tender, but when you're in the game and the adrenaline starts flowing it becomes an afterthought.
He should be okay.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:07 PM ^
I'd love to see them start the game with both Tate and Denard on the field. Line Tate up in shotgun with Denard right next to him and let the defense shit their pants. I think we see this formation later in the season. The sheer number of possibilities are endless.
I think it's expected of RR to have Denard on the injury report since he was "injured" last game. I'm sure he'll play the entire game though barring further injury. (wood knocked)
I don't think we see Toussant for another few weeks. He clearly wasn't 100% in the last game and that lead him to getting a new injury. He just needs to be fresh for the juggernaught final two games of the season. Hopefully we can sneak one or both of them!
September 30th, 2010 at 11:31 PM ^
I've seen this a bunch of times online and WE DID IT against Ohio State last year and I don't get the logic. Why would defense shit their pants more if Denard isn't taking the snap? He's the most versatile, dangerous player on the field and this formation would not give him the ball right away. It makes no sense.
Denard has more than proven he can do everything Tate can do, but much much faster. Why do you want Tate horning in on that action?
None of this is a slight on Tate, of course, he's a very good QB, but he is not dilithium.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:08 PM ^
I would assume "probable" is 75-99%. Denard could be 99% for all we know. His twitter said the knee was fine today. I'm not worried.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:15 PM ^
Denard is "Probable" because that is the highest level of likelihood short of "not hurt at all." He's got a bruised knee, which meant he was probably going to be listed. But he got the best possible listing.
It isn't as if Denard is "probable: 75% to play" while Carvin is "really, really probable: 90% to play" and Brandon Herron is "totally healthy, but still likes hanging out with the hot trainer: 98% to play."
October 1st, 2010 at 8:02 AM ^
Great explanation. Thanks for the morning chuckle
September 30th, 2010 at 11:52 PM ^
Denard has missed plays in every game this season due to injury of some sort so odds are he's definitely going to get injured while playing injured.
October 1st, 2010 at 12:00 AM ^
He didn't miss time against UMass, and missed a total of three plays the first two weeks.
October 1st, 2010 at 12:02 AM ^
Where's disapproving eyes man when you need him?
October 1st, 2010 at 12:26 AM ^
Pretty sure he just got the wind knocked out of him against Uconn and ND
October 1st, 2010 at 12:29 AM ^
Does anyone know the details on Toussaint's shoulder injury? I didn't think it happened during the BG game.
