He was PHENOMENAL before he got hurt this season. And he's not the reason why we're losing this series. Actually watch the games.

That goal was on Howard. No reason to go so far out of cage with three guys on him. It may have been a goal anyway, but he put himself way out of position...

Jimmy takes some of the blame, but the three Wings on one guy take a god deal as well. There is no reason for three guys to focus on one, it left two Preds cutting right down the middle wide open. The worst part one was Lidstrom who is supposed to be the smartest player at all times at all times. I am assuming that they weren't communicating at all on that play, that is the only reason i can think to as why three guys would follow one into the corner.

Bone-headed errors killed the last 40 seconds there. A mishandle right on the blue line, and then Hudler somehow skating straight into 3 defenders. Yikes.

Rinne has been great, but friendly bounces have saved his bacon way more often than expected this series. It's so frustrating to watch.

Leaving the ice, hit to the head, severe concussion. It's gotta be punished.
Especialy if Hagelin got 3 games. That said, NHL may just as likely fine Torres $2500.

Of course, this being the way things have been officiated in this year's NHL playoffs, rather than being on a 5 minute power play the Blackhawks actually ended up shorthanded after that hit. All four officials claim to have not seen it.

We should be celebrating a 4-game sweep based on level of play to this point. Absolutely ridiculous that we're going to be out of the playoffs any day now.

We have a good number of tired old guys who have already won a cup and that against a team of hungry young fellas is going to count for nothing in the moxie dept.
This team needs forwards that can handle the puck, a first liner for Datsyuk to work with, and a solid #3 defender. When your scoring leader is Franzen with a mere 20 something goals, you'll be in trouble one April.
Finally, I don't think Babcock should be fired. That's just silly. But he does need to have a very uncomfortable conversation this summer in which he sits across the table from Holland and answers the question "you've had arguably a top 3 team in hockey the past three years, and hardly make it into May, what's going wrong?"
I'm not irrational, or a shitty fan. I realize how dumb ass luck has played a role in our demise these past four games. But in reality, I think the game of hockey has passed us by, at least as far as playoff strategy goes.
I know we may win the next three in a row, I know that we got that streak and looked really good this mid season before the injuries hit, but I am a passionate and level headed fan who for the first time
In his 25 years of Red Winga fandom is very sick at his stomach and pissed off beyond belief at this team.
No one is going to bow down to us simply because there's a winged wheel on our chest anymore.
