Odoms our savior

How clutch is this kid? Along with that touchdown catch at the end, he had a big third down conversion early in the game on our 2nd TD drive. Not to mention the big catches he had on that last drive against ND. And those crazy blocks that everyone has been vibing about. I doubt he will have an overly impressive stat line this season, but he makes the plays (along with Forcier) at when it matters. I hope we continue to put the ball in his hands at the end of games. Wooooooo thanks Martavious for helping us start 4-0!

but IMO Tate looked indecisive and confused much of the day, more like your usual freshman than he's looked before. But then he did rally impressively to show us the same guy we saw the first two weeks the end of the game. Love him, but along with the o-line and defense, it wasn't the best of days.

For some reason, he was a favorite off-season target for a lot of people. Criticized routinely and unfairly. He is showing what he can do when the quarterback realizes he isn't 12 feet tall, and when the quarterback can get him passes that he doesn't have to tie himself up into a pretzel to catch. And quite the blocker fo such a lil guy. Glad he is wearing the Winged Helemt!

his stat lines at the end of this season will either be similar to, or better than, last year, because of his crucial blocking, more TDs, and fewer fumbles.

Odoms is tenacious, his blocking ability is unbelievable, and he seems to step up and make the big plays when we need them. Not to mention how versatile he is - he has had receiving, running, and special teams touchdowns. I think he is definitely an under-appreciated member of the team, but hopefully threads like this and his continuously impressive performances will get him some much earned respect.

I took notice of Odoms as all around team hero when he threw a wonderful block on Stonum's Special teams TD against the ND. I am waiting to see what he does this year in the cold weather. He seemed to struggle last year once the weather turned frosty. It is good to see him as not just a receiver and he has become a favorite of mine.

Watch YouTube to see Poole1Dan claiming that his game-winning reception was a "lucky" catch and if you don't count that and the two receptions from the ND game, he's averaging -25 yards a carry.
