Ocker Field Renovation Photos
What's with the filtering on all these pictures?
I'm not sure. I found the photos on the internet.
You mean to tell me that those pictures aren't just Ann Arbor glistening in the sun like always!?
It seems like someone in the AD's office is really, really into it. Their Twitter and Instagram accounts love to go nuts posting heavily altered pictures like this. It's not only ugly, but in some of those construction photos, it's actually difficult to understand what I'm looking at.
HDR is what shitty photographers overuse to make bad pictures look interesting.
HDR can be useful and add to a photo when used in moderation - it's designed for photos that are underexposed in one area but overexposed in another. When you just use it willy-nilly, it has the very powerful effect of just pissing everyone off.
Good HDR:
Bad HDR
I think the field might be blue with a giant blokck M in the middle from what I've seen on facebook.
Here is the completed HD board at U-M Soccer Stadium-
I take it you've never been to Ocker Field for a game.
A renovation was LONG overdue.
Seating was literally sets of bleachers on the ground. Now it's actually going to be a stadium with a grandstand, a pressbox etc. along with a brand new team facility.
Michigan hosts the 2014 B1G Tournament and will host the 2015 NCAA National Semifinals and National Championship.
We now have one of the best stadiums in the country. Before it was pretty meh. Seating for about 50 people, no lights, and a small run down building.
