A Nigerian Center from Rice that posted very good freshman numbers and was looking at Michigan amongst others to transfer to.
He was looking at Michigan but was Michigan looking at him?
Tashawn Thomas only other big out there. Hopefully Mitch returns.

been in the works since his name popped up on our radars. Was always a long shot to end up anywhere other than Duke. Want to wish him the best, but he's going to Duke, so I feel less inclined to do so.

Hope he helps them bow out of the first round of the tournament in 2 years.

"I think Sean met with our kids and realized what a great opportunity he had to be one of our kids and to be a part of what it means to be a team at Duke. Our kids are so classy and tough, and they really come together during adversity, and I think that's apparent when you have the privilege of meeting with our kids, because I am a leader of men more than a coach, and that rubs off in the way our kids hold themselves in games and in life. I'm really proud of our kids, and all of the teams we beat this last year were fortunate to have the chance to play our kids. And it was really a pleasure for Sean to meet our kids and for you to do this interview. It's humbling."
As the saying goes, you win the Internet today (and last night, and for the week at least). That was brilliant.
I'm kind of surprised. I didn't expect a comment like that from him with his image. He's almost saying he's a great coach and doesn't need the players but you can come along for the ride if you'd like.
He is a good coach obviously. I'm not sure how early exits from the tournament factor in with his cooment. Maybe he should sit in a corner and be quiet for a while.
This can't be real.

He must not like playing in March
I know now is the time to get in jabs against duke but they did win a national title in 2010 and an elite 8 after that too I think. I realize that they have dropped a couple first round games is big upsets but just pointing out that it's not like they haven't had any tournament success in recent memory.
Duke? Success? No that doesn't seem quite right...
How successful is duke at taking 3 and 4* guys and turning them into nba draft picks? I don't know the answer, but even I could coach a guy like Parker to go in the top 5 of the draft. BFD.

Defending Duke? Come on, friend. Nobody sticks up for Duke unless they are an alum. They can take their rightful place in hell, next to Notre Dame, Ohio State, and USC.

I hate duke. A lot. Just pointing out people may have reasons for picking them. We will get ours and we will be good with coach b at the helm.
Now they have one less scholarship . . . Muahahaha
Duke UK and KU are the Honey Badgers of college hoops.
The SEC pays their players.
I usually take one in the morning.
I thought this thread was about Obie Trice. Man am I disapointed now.
