Getting Harbaugh is okay I guess, but I was really hoping for Cutcliffe.

Look at the facts.  Cutcliffe has taken Duke to consecutive bowl games after they have been terrible for forever.  Harbaugh has only been to ONE bowl game in the last four years, despite having NFL talent at literally every position.  How can you defend that?  It's a scientific fact.

The NFL reporters crack me up. Its funny they make it seem like the Michigan "Fanbase" feels like we are "entitled" to nice things, but cant wrap their head around a coach choosing us over their overated business. NFL reporters are just OHIO and MSU fans in hiding lol.

But can someone explain the posting procedures, and or the acronyms used on here? ex: OT, etc. Also I know I dont have the points now, but how do you get more points? I am a huge UofM fan, and have been reading the blog for sometime now.

OT:  off topic, FWIW:  for what it's worth, CC: coaching change, IIRC: if I recall correctly, meta: something completely different.

I'm sure there's lots more...

Regarding points, you get points by posting things and getting upvoted.  Here's an upvote for you to get you closer to 100 pts, to where you can upvote folks and start posts on the MGoBoard.

we had this discussion on the board a couple weeks ago specifically about "meta" and no one could come up with as good of an answer that you just gave.  We talked about it and what I gave was what we basically concluded.  But yeah, that's a much better explanation than I've seen anywhere...

OT means "off-topic" -- if you start a thread that doesn't relate to Michigan sports, you need to talk it OT.

You don't have to worry about that yet because you don't have enough points to start a thread, but those will come.  Just post insightful and/or humorous comments (and don't be a dick), and people will upvote your threads with the green arrow.  With upvotes come points.  With points comes the ability to start your own threads, etc.

On Mgoblog, first you get the points, then you get the sugar, then you get the power, and then you get the women.

OT= off topic, posting gets you points, upvotes get you points. Hilarious and well-times GIFs and memes get you more points, I've learned.

CC was 'coaching change/carousel', but NOT ANYMORE!
META is not an acronym for anything.

Don't post redundant threads, you should be fine.

Not sure if serious, but raiders were expected to be the last major obstable to change his mind with a last minute deal he could not turn down... so this is pretty big news for us this morning, even if we all here knew it was coming (many nfl-types, casual fans didn't believe michigan could beat oakland in the end)

At 9:20am I'm at work with the NY sports radio station on. The hosts read a reports from Silver saying that the Raiders are meeting with Harbaugh this morning and how the Michigan jet is ready. They're saying how embarrassing it would be for UM if he spurns them. I just wanted to bang my head on the desk on how uninformed everyone is who listens to these "insiders" instead of reading this site.
