Nuss wont Make It-- Year-2

Submitted by TheBoLineage-- on

I dont think Nuss is gonna make it into Year-2.  I think hes gonna be fired.

I-d like to think hes found a RunGame of one type or another following @-Nrw.  But its the PassGame Now.  I spose one can say--

yes, Nuss IS Calling an Effective PassGame.  But DG is Not Delivering.

For me though--  I still dont have a sense that the PassCalls are sequenced--  including The Pass ROUTES themselves--  in any Meaningful Way.

PassGame analysis can be Very Tricky--  ESP with passes thrown on 1st-2nd Down, because one can always say--

could not YOU have found an Effective RunPlay for that Ocall instead ??

I will admit that I got stuck on "I-d" - I cannot for the life of me figure out what the missing letter is here. I am hoping this is some strange game that combines the best of "Wheel Of Fortune" with the Chuck Woolery era of "Scrabble" and we're being asked to play. That is what it is, right?

I think the Mch-O has found something with Darboh--  often with basic 15yd-InOut Routes.  ie-  Deep-InDig Routes

Ive pointed-out that The Old Mch-OC Lineage liked to Pass WEAK--  that, is AWAY from Double Coverage and the like.

Ive noticed too that the RunPlay-FAKE passes-- PlayAction Passes--  seem to run into trouble.  I spose because of LB Stunts-DB Fires which increase The Tension for DG with PlayAction.

Almost as if--  just call Basic Dropback Passes for DG.  No PlayAction.  This would INCLUDE from Eye-Formation on FIRST-Down.

Eye-Formation Dropback passes.  No PlayAction.  And then Sequense The Pass Routes from there--  Pass WEAK to Darboh, Y=TE routes, etc

Did anyone on here read the ESPN message boards back in the day before they switched it to posting through facebook? There was an old troll on the Michigan boards whose username was AztecOhio... And his style of obnoxiously place capital letters and sentence fragments is eerily similar to the original poster.

it is him.  PaS for Penn State and all the other stuff ...

The MOB that got Carr extricated and didn't promote Mike DeBord to HC ..hatred of Rodriguez from day one and from the DC metro area.

I remember the OP from the ESPN message boards. He's always like this. You'd swear it was a fricking robot. He didn't like RR either. Doesn't get excited either way.

Yeah, I Checked out --

that posting HISTORY, and damn. The bizarre Devotion to THE random MDash -- THE CAPITALIZATION OF words that-- seemingly shouldn't BE Capitalized.

terms LIKE Eye-set that no ONE HAS ever heard Of --

very Real issues WITH spelleeng. things wrong-- ALSO SYNTAX is-an issue. And what's UP WITH the StrangeConjunctions ??

What's fun is to speak out loud exactly as the OP wrote and punctuated his post. You'll yell for no appreciable reason, pause for no appreciable reason and will generally sound exactly like the guy I saw yesterday hollering at cars driving by while talking to his hands.

Hey...maybe the OP is that guy.

I spose--  he can still find something.

Ive noticed All Year Long, that Nuss will Ocall his way out to midfield--  and then It Goes Bad.

As if the DCs change their Dcalls at midfield--  and Nuss has never really figured this out.

Its Even WORSE in someways--  when somehow The Mch-O gets 1st-10 inside the opponent 35-or something from a Fumble-Interception, and the Nuss-O basically Does NOTHING  !!

This LAST point--  is what we saw @-Nrw  . . .

True-ly Un-believe-able  . . .

on continuous run. Doesn't acknowlege criticism; continues sending. This may be what the end of civilzation will be like after a mass nuclear exchange.

for those Digging Around In My Past--  you might have found some comments on RunPlay 30-Veer.  Brian-Ace have referenced this play--  Broadly Speaking--  as Inside Zone.

This is not really Accurate Enough.  InMyBook--  this play is run from BLUE-Set, which is 2-TEs and 1-RB, and is basically run toward the Offensive Center-OC.  In my numbering system, this becomes 30.  Which is TB-RB to OC.  But it looks like this play has a Cutback-Bounce Quality to it, ie--  a VEER Quality to it.

This play is NOT the well known Zone Stretch-Reach RunPlay to LT-RT, which I code as 33-34 ZONE.

I would encourage The Board to do some film-study for H-Ind and @-Nrw and see if you can find a RunPlay similar to The Above Described 30-Veer.  This should be easy enough to spot--  it actually HAS gotten good yardage for the most part several times.

If nothing else--  it looks like a simple RB-Dive RunPlay.  About as Basic As It Gets

Now this is what I remember reading back in the old days on the ESPN message boards. Before I knew this place existed and real content existed, you would bust out some real football talk and I always liked reading the discussion (or lack thereof); rarely posted but lurked. Your FoxNews-mentioned posts here (whether people agree with the notions or not) do suck, though.
