Yo, you can check my commenting history, but I called that it was gonna be Nuss, and I couldn't be happier to be right. This is going to bring Michigan back to the top

If Hoke is going to be the executive type HC, these two moves have restored my faith in him.  He did what Lloyd wouldn't have in firing Al who obviously needed to go.  He waited to announce the firing until the targeted replacement was secure.  And he got probably the best candidate that no one really thought was even available.

To summarize...

Not sure why people keep saying this about Lloyd. He demoted Jackson, fired Parrish, and "encouraged" Herrmann to take an NFL position coach job. Carr recognized when it was necessary to make staff changes, and Hoke probably learned this from him.

Yes!  After such a rotten 2013 season, I did not expect to be this excited about Michigan football for a while.  I was afraid we'd just be complacent with the coaching staff and bask in our mediocrity.  What a RELIEF!!!

Now if we can only get a homerun hire for our new Oline coach!

OMG YES 2014 weird that he would make this sideways move when he could probably get a decent head coaching job now or in a year or two. Maybe he still will take a HC job in a year or two that would suck
