Now the Sparty players are calling out Wisconsin

Submitted by wresler120 on

Isaiah Lewis said the Slappies are coming out with the same gamestyle against Wisconsin .. and the db's are going to go get it, the lb's are going to go get it, and basically Russell Wilson needs to know he is going to get hurt in this game.

Now, normally I would chalk this up as a figure of speech, saying your defense is going to be all over him. But, in all seriousness, the conference better put the slappies on notice that any players intentionally trying to hurt someone will receive a long term suspension. Russell Wilson will probably end up hurt, because they are going to try to kick him in the throat if he is lying on the ground after the play, punch him in the throat if he standing up after the play .. gouge their fingernails into his eyes if he is at the bottom of the pile after the play. They are going to try to hurt him at all costs, the problem is it will surely come after the whistle. Wouldn't be surprised to see Dantonio and Narduzzi send in a back up player who never sees the field out there for 1 play with the sole intention of hurting him after play.

I especially like Narduzzi's comment of how they play 60 minutes of unneccessary roughness, and he's just gald it doesn't get called on every play.

The problem is ... Wisconsin is the last team in the world that the slappies want to fire up. I could see this one ending in a bloodbath ... literally and figuratively speaking

And the conference put a big one game suspension on Reynolds....probably the same for Gholston. I will be watching every snap of this game and enjoying Wisconsin's victory. It goes against my normal behavior to care about other teams but I have to admit I want to see Sparty get bitch slapped.

Jesus fucking Christ, we're still in the hunt for the Big Ten Championship game. You root for Wisconsin so that we pull back to even for the division lead. That we want Wiscy to run train on those classless assholes is just the gravy on the potatoes.

Sparty has games on the road at Nebraska, Iowa, and Northwestern, plus their pending beatdown next week. They're going to finish the year with 2-3 losses at least. Losing on Saturday sucks and some mourning is warranted, but they didn't end our season by a longshot and we can still have the last laugh. Lose to Sparty in exchange for winning the Legends division and playing for the Big 10 Championship? Yeah, I'll take that swap in a heartbeat.

Let's keep our eyes on the ball, fellas.

With the bye week, I will be rooting for Wisconsin harder than I've ever rooted for another team before. I do not think I have ever disliked a team and their coaches more than I dislike Sparty right now.

Here is the thing about this tactic, it will come back to bite them in the butt. Yes you can go on the field and pound your chest and play dirty. my parents always told me when I have played sports against dirty players, there will always be bigger and dirtier, they will get theirs.

If I were a state fan, I would be hoping that this defense isn't writing checks that. Kurt Cousins will be forced to check. Eventually he will he the one on the receiving end of a dirty hit.

As much as I want Sparty to lose in grand fashion, this game is at 8 o'clock in the Asylum and that place will be explosive ( with vomit and enthusism). As good as Wisconsin looks, they still find a way to stub their toe each year, and usually in their first conference road game. Ontop of that, the Sparty D is flying pretty high after backing up their #1 defensive ranking with Saturday's win. Goddammit it makes me sick to say it, but I'm not underestimating those fuckstains again.

On Wisconison. On and on and on and on. Give me one of those 80something - 6 scores.

Ahhh as much as I would like to think Wisconsin will demolish MSU, I really have a hard time believing that. Now that MSU's O-line has gotten some good practice in against a few good D-lines, I think Wisconsin is toast.

But, at the same time, MSU hasn't been practicing all year long to try and memorize the snap counts for this game and so will be much more underprepared for it than they were for us. Still, Gholston + Worthy against a bunch of farmboys... I'll take MSU's D-line.

The B1G or NCAA should suspend Narduzzi for the entire year effective immediately, and then MSU should fire him. Of course, he will just get a fat raise from Spartyland, along with some custom license plates made by some of his ex-players.

"Its homecoming" as if this matters

"Wisconsin hasn't faced a defense like ours yet!!"

They think they'll win

"We beat the same team last year and we're better this year!!"

Something has to be done by the Big Ten to limit personal foul penalties in a game, especially when a player is injured as a result of a personal foul.

Apparently 15 yard penalties are not deterrence enough for Michigan State.

It appeared that the penalty by Marcus Rush should have warranted two personal foul penalties on the same play, one for hands in the face/blow to the head and another one for unnecessary ruffness, slamming Denard to the turf and jumping on him.

What are the ejection rules in College Football? I'm sure Rush would have been ejected in the NFL for that hit he put on Denard.

Possible penalties to consider:
Eject a player if he commits a second personal foul penalty in the same game. This would have taken at least taken Gohlston out of the game.

Remove a player from the field when a personal foul penalty results in an injury. The player committing the penalty remains off the field for as long as the injured player is off the field. If the players injury results in him missing several games, then the player committing the personal foul that injured him will be sidelined for as long as it takes for the victim player to return to the field of play from injury.

If I'm Hoke, I have a DVD presentation for the Big 10 first thing Monday morning which includes everything in the game that caused injury to a UM player, every personal foul, plus everything that shows the msu defense is looking to continue. I'm all for physical, but gholston should have ben ejected and suspended. Completely unacceptable!

The end result the last time they played in EL 2 years ago. We will see what the Badgers are made out this weekend. The big ugglies against the thugs of Worthy & Co. I sure do hoe WG gets suspended for this sucker punch & other crap he did when Denard was on the floor.

Also hoping Al Toom takes this punk Lewis to school this weekend.

I must say I was beyond stunned by MSU's display of unabashed thuggery against Michigan. I haven't seen anything that bad on a football field since Reynolds choked Sorgi, which of course came while the OSU defense was being marshaled by the Dean of Discipline Mark Dantonio. How Gholston hasn't been suspended for trying to rip off Denard's head ina game he was also flagged for throwing a punch is beyond me. What's more, I can't believe Narduzzi actually came out with his comments, which are truly shocking from a coach. Isaiah Williams' idiocy and the absence of a suspension, let alone any acknowledgement of wrongdoing, are just more proof that Dantonio feels he has tapped into something with this team and is willing to sink to great depths in the interests of winning.

We've pointed out that Michigan handled it all pretty well, refusing to lay blame in the media. I'm sure they are all seething behind closed doors and it wouldn't surprise me if Delaney got a DVD from Brady Hoke's office, but he asked his team to take the high road and they did. If nothing else it shows the team has bought in to whatever Hoke is selling and they are squarely behind their new coach. I'm not being solicitous when I say that i was impressed by this.

I don't know how this will play out. MSU has a legitimate defense and will be playing in front of a very hyped nighttime crowd. The thing is, and I say this cautiously, Wisconsin as also had this game marked for a long time, and they are capable of punishing an undisciplined, hyper-aggressive defense. Nebraska chirped about Wisconsin "not playing a defense like ours" and did a fair amount of woofing at the beginning of the game. That only gets you so far. MSU's defense may be better than Nebraska's and the Spartans are good enough to win this game for sure, but I tend to not buy into teams that have to run their mouths and resort to cheapness to claim a psychological advantage. The quietly confident teams usually do best.

I think the key is to start fast and not give up the turnover/special teams plays that further energize the crowd and the team. Match Sparty's intensity but not their emotion. Stay even-keeled, do what they do and let it play out over 4 quarters.
